Completely changed our main and second floor with vinyl flooring. Also did amazing job on the stairs as well. Great guy, was very understanding of our situation. Although Declan was hired initially only for flooring, I expanded the scope of the project as he stated he was a GC. I was disappointed with the work. He was onsite for a few minutes some days and late a lot, even though we planned our meetings around my work schedule. The flooring/stairs was below standards I would expect from other contractors I worked with. Top nosing broke and tenant fell. He didn't even respond to texts or offer repair. He eventually agreed to refund 25% owing on the flooring as I would need to get someone else in to fix this but he never refunded this back. His subcontractor came 3 times and did not fix the stairs. Left the stairs unglued with my tenant's mover and my handyman tripping and falling. Ikea kitchen installer he hired left all boxes thrown in a closet. I was told that as he did not buy the kitchen, he did not have to dispose of them. Came back and cleaned poor grout lines and some grout was even missing. Left open drywall behind stove (not code).

I called L&W to repair a problem with a pocket door that was not working properly. Previously I had 2 contractors attempt the repair with no success. Walter provided a clear, concise quote immediately after I called him. He came to our house today and immediately discovered the problem, repaired the door issues and we now have a pocket door working perfectly. The actual job cost less than 50% of the estimate as well. Arden was extremely pleasant to deal with. He arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. He gave me some tips to help me with another task that I asked about before it became a problem requiring a repairman. No pressure to hire him or anyone else to do that job before necessary. We had the popcorn ceiling removed in our house (just over 3000 square feet) before moving in. Melody was a pleasure to deal with, making everything easy and went above and beyond. They started with protecting all the floors and some walls. The guys worked hard, including over the weekend, and the work was completed one day early! Very happy with the work, ceilings are very smooth and look like they've always been that way. They cleaned up and vacuumed after the work was complete.
