We are very happy with the completed job. All the workers worked hard and coordinated like a well oiled machine. They completed the job as scheduled and the result was beautiful. It should last for decades based on how well they prepared and reinforced the base before pouring the concrete. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

I needed my front porch fixed urgently after it was destroyed to fix a sewer pipe. Mike was fast to respond & kept me in the loop every step of the way. I can’t thank Zachos Construction Ltd enough for their outstanding service! I needed last-minute snow removal for my parents’ house after major snow storm on Family Day long weekend, and they came through when no one else could. Despite the short notice, they responded quickly, arrived on time, and did an incredibly thorough job clearing and salting the driveway and walkway. Not only was their work top-notch, but their professionalism and kindness really stood out. This was a huge help for my parents, and I truly appreciate the effort they put in. In 2009 I had Craig and his team install a 5 zone inground sprinkler system for my single family home. That was 14 years ago, and except for a few adjustments over the years, the system has worked flawlessly. I have NC Irrigation perform the closing service every year. This company cares about customers and I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. Can't say I've missed dragging hoses around the yard or putting them away and worrying about whether some parts of the lawn are getting too much water or maybe not enough. We recently used Master Homes Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. Anton came to the house to discuss the project and offer some advice as to the design aspect of what we were doing. We found him very knowledgeable, he made recommendations as to the layout and gave us a clear idea of what the project would look like when completed. We received a detailed quotation within a few days, numerous options with pricing. With some conversation we were comfortable with the quotation and agreed to move ahead. We were then introduced to Ashley who would be our design contact throughout the project. We had done the usual visits to the home stores and to be honest were a little overwhelmed, we really needed some direction and advice. Ashley made it so easy, she supplied numerous choices, with pricing, for each of the components from tile to taps, and really helped us with every selection, for us, that expertise saved weeks of wandering the aisles trying to figure out what we wanted. Once decided, Ashley ordered everything for us and had it delivered to our house. The crew showed up to start the demo on the agreed date, immediately covered my hardwood hall and stairs to avoid any damage as they removed the debris, they were careful to try to limit the dust as much as possible but by nature its a dusty job. Execution was flawless, we did have to make some decisions as to the waterproofing behind the new shower, Anton gave us three options with and actually recommended the LEAST expensive one for what we needed. We had a vacation planned that happened to fall in the middle of the project. We were so comfortable with Anton and his crew, we gave him a key, they continued working while we were away. The project was completed just as we got back, we were so pleased with the results. Both bathrooms look amazing, certainly exceeding our expectations, they even added undercabinet LED accent lighting, not included in the original quote but they thought we would like it. They were right, it added a whole spa like look to the bathroom. The project was completed a few weeks ago but I held off on my review as I knew there would be some minor call backs, there always are with any reno. The true test of a contractor is how well they handle the call backs. A flickering pot light, a sticky drawer on the vanity, they were there next day, resolved without question, we were very impressed. We did add some extras to the project as it progressed but overall they were on budget per their original quote. As a contractor Master Homes ticked all the boxes. On time, on quote, knew what they were doing, all the assistance we needed, daily updates on the project, immediate attention to the callbacks, and probably the most important factor, Trust. We will use them again for our next project without any hesitation, there are so many horror stories out there it was a pleasure and a relief to find a good honest contractor that goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the results. My sprinkler was installed by Ontario Green Irrigation in June 2017. I was very pleased with their service and gave them a 10/10 rating. The system worked fine until a slow leak developed recently. I contacted Peter, the owner of the company. A technician was sent to repair it and I paid the fee on the first visit. After three visits, however, the leak keeps coming back after only one or two full runs of the system. I asked Peter to send in a more experienced technician. Strangely, Peter requested a $600 additional payment (discounted from $900). The repair carries a two year warranty. Now the problem is not even fixed yet, why should I be charged again? Peter explained that my system was too old and they had to do a lot to address all the issues. Frankly I was quite upset, and checked their recent reviews on HomeStars. They did receive four 0/10 ratings, among which two were for the same incident. However, among 84 reviews so far 74 are 10/10, including mine. I just cannot believe that Peter could have changed so much to become a different person. He must have been misinformed. So I sent him a screenshot of my review of June 26, 2017, to let him know that my system is only seven years old. Three minutes after I sent my message Peter replied that he would send in technicians the next day to fix the problem, no more mentioning of the additional charge. Next morning around 8:00, two technicians showed up including one with over 10 years experience. Now, the system has run a number of times without any issues. I feel that Peter is a trustful business owner and the previous poor reviews might also be a result of misunderstanding. I myself will continue to rely on their first class service.
