They did great work... hard workers, on time, courteous, clean,careful, they even worked on sunday. The 2 salesgirls, vicky and joanna are great. They are very polite and great to work with. They were eager to accomodate my needs. The work was done quickly.. and before the men left each night, they moved all the equipment to one side of the driveway so that we could put our car into the garage. We got a rangehood but we had no existing duct work to vent to the exterior. Cu Mechanical install the duct work and drilled through the double brick wall to vent to the outside. They did the work quickly, cleanly and for a reasonable price. I would use them again.Latest review:Cold Air Comfort

Best company you will ever hire! Phenomenal communication, workers showed up on time, they worked hard, they were respectful, clean and the quality of work, impeccable, they cared about the workmanship and it showed. The projects they did were large, hardscape all around my house, front, back (around my pool) and the sides of my house. I recommend them to everyone, I don't even price shop any more, I just call Trevor if I need anything and that is who I go with, his team is the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We are a hands on renovation contractor with over 39 years experience providing homeowners with high quality renovations and top quality service.
After paying for a brand new kitchen to be installed at our house, my wife and I were excited to be nearing the end of a month-long renovation project. One of the last things for us to do was to plug in our shiny new range hood fan into the custom hood cover that been designed for it. Unfortunately we quickly discovered that the kitchen cabinet company had not considered the height of the fan unit properly, meaning that our pre-existing duct vent hole was now approximately 8-10 inches too low for us to be able to install the new fan! What made the situation even worse was that we had just installed a quartz backsplash and I was worried that the vibrations from drilling a new duct hole would end up cracking the new backsplash. I posted a request for help on HomeStars and received a response from Luca at MGC Contracting within a few minutes. I explained the situation and said that even though I knew this was a relatively small job, it was something that would be required to save my marriage after living without a functional kitchen for over a month! Luca made time to come over the next day and take a look at the space in person so that we could discuss potential options. We ended up agreeing to move forward with cutting a new hole, as he promised that he could do it without risking any damage to the backsplash. He explained that he was already busy on another project but he made an exception and offered up some of his personal time so that we could get our kitchen up and running as soon as possible. Luca arrived on time on the day we had agreed to, and performed all the work efficiently and neatly. He and his crew member were very considerate and careful, and even went out of their way to make sure that the patch job they did to brick up our old duct hole was done in a way that you can barely see where they did their work. At the end of the day, I paid him what wed already agreed in advance with no hesitation as he had done a terrific job. Overall, I had a great experience working with Luca and his team and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy general contractor for any work around the house. Ive already let him know to expect a call soon for some retiling work that we have been putting off because we didnt have a good contractor to work with before.
