My service call was to replace an electric hot water tank and repair a shower leak and look the hot water slow supply from a couple of taps. He ended up changing out 2 bathroom taps and stoppers and also fixed a toilet leak on top of the original requests. - Neil did a great job going over everything with me and the tenant. He wore his mask and was COVID respectful. He was very kind and patient and thorough with the requested original service call and the additional items that ended up also being added. Had this company quote a couple of years ago on installing an air conditioner unit and HVAC and water heater in a different home - the owner was also thorough and gave us a good price - we ended up using a different company that had a product that worked better for us at the time but Good Guys made such a good impression on me during that call two years ago, that I called them for this job and got continued great service. We have been using Total Tech pool services opening/ closing our pool, water testing, buying new pool equipment etc for many years. We have always been more than satisfied with their services. The store staff provide great customer service, are always pleasant and helpful. The technical staff opening / closing the pool and installing new equipment are knowledgeable and patient. Recently we had a major issue with our Prowler pool cleaners power supply. We had not realized that Total Tech also handled equipment diagnostics and repair. We were in their store having our pool water tested and mentioned our problem. To our complete surprise, Dave checked our power supply and resolved our problem immediately. We were thrilled. Hired AAAHS to repair wall in my basement and was quoted the price. I informed the company that the job would require painting. AAAHS arrived late and proceeded to repair wall. He patched the wall and said his job did not include sanding or painting. I don’t understand why he would think that we would just want the wall repaired and not painted. I pointed out that is not what I wrote in my message and was told he gets thousands of messages a day regarding jobs, so it’s not his problem that he can not keep track of what the job entails. I could have gotten the job done in completion by another person for less money. I was left very confused and angry. A young fellow came to my condo for this job. This was such a small and simple job, I already removed most of the old caulking, all it need was applying new caulking. I'm not impressed of the finishing details.

Cedar Property was supposed to call me Tues. Morning to discuss details and to arrange a visit. He never called all day. He had said he could do the job but I guess he changed his mind. I hired Doyle Contracting to put down cement and build a shed according to specifications I provided (I have provided a photo of the shed and the copy of the specs I provided. The shed I ordered did not have the cupola on top nor the plant pots, so none of that should in the photos). The work was mostly completed yesterday, but there were some issues with the quality of work around the windows and with the siding on the top edges of the shed. Doyle contracting agreed to take care of that only if I paid them more money. If you look at the photos of the work done and the photos from the specifications though it is obvious the work was not done properly. You can see around the windows in the front and on the edging the quality of work you will get if you hire them. For that reason, I would strongly argue against ever using Doyle Contracting and would find a different company if you ever need any work done.

We hired Right Home Decor to install our curtains. It has now been a month, and the job is still not completed. On the first day, I paid him in full, even though the work was not finished. He agreed to return another day to complete it. When he came back on the second day, we realized that one of the materials was not compatible. We agreed that once I got the correct material, he would come and complete the installation when he was available. I later got the right material and reached out to him. He agreed to come the following week. On the agreed day, I waited for him, but he never showed up. He also didn’t reach out to inform me; I was the one who had to follow up. He then told me he was out of town — this was after I had been waiting for him. He promised to come the next day or, at the latest, the following week. However, the week passed without any communication from him. Again, I had to follow up, and he said he would come in two or three days.
