The reliable way to hire a pro

My water feature is no longer holding water... pool may be broken or hose may have a leak. Whole thing was perhaps not done as well as it should have been (inexperienced installation) and may need to be redone.

Just moved into a new home and I'm really not loving the colour of the laminate floors. Is it possible to lay vinyl flooring right on top of the laminate? Asking to know if can avoid taking off the baseboards and removing the laminate.

How do I go about adding a dishwasher to my kitchen that never previously had one? I'm more than willing to have my kitchen drawers (where I want the dishwasher to go) be remove and have the dishwasher go there. But, does that mean I need to involve some sort of reno/demolition people? Once they are done, then do I need an electrician and a plumber to hook up the dishwasher? Would love to get some input on how to begin this project, the order of what to do/when to do it, and what to watch out for. Also, any input on what to look for in a dishwasher and any brands/things to stay away from? This is my first time buying a dishwasher.
