The reliable way to hire a pro

How do I go about adding a dishwasher to my kitchen that never previously had one? I'm more than willing to have my kitchen drawers (where I want the dishwasher to go) be remove and have the dishwasher go there. But, does that mean I need to involve some sort of reno/demolition people? Once they are done, then do I need an electrician and a plumber to hook up the dishwasher? Would love to get some input on how to begin this project, the order of what to do/when to do it, and what to watch out for. Also, any input on what to look for in a dishwasher and any brands/things to stay away from? This is my first time buying a dishwasher. We've got birds nesting in our soffits, and it sounds like they might be getting into other parts of the roof. I've read about ultrasound devices and using distress calls. I’m aware of the legal aspects concerning bird disturbance, plus I really don't want to harm them.
