We had the exterior stucco on a 20 foot chimney replaced by Adastra with fibreglass reinforced stucco. This is much better than the original work which was failing badly. Adastra also noticed that there were other cracks on some of the other chimneys and offered to repair these too at no charge. I would highly recommend Adastra. The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:Artuk construction lnc

I highly recommend Handyman Kwik Solutions (Sam and his team) after they just finished three separate jobs: 1) for a backyard studio-shed I had built several years ago, fixing some poor framing from the previous contractor, insulating, and drywalling; 2) working with an electrician to excavate a trench (including through concrete) from house to shed for an 100 amp electrical pipe; and 3) adding flashing on all sides of the studio-shed. All work was done to a very high, fully professional standard. Everything was done as discussed -- with added touches that Sam's conscientious professionalism told him needed to be done for him to feel satisfied with the work (notably partially rebuilding one storage loft area and the very finicky, expert drywalling of it and another storage loft). As a bonus, the time between quoting and doing the work was very quick -- Sam fit our fairly small job (about a week of work) before another major job was due to start. NOTE: the amount cited above includes the cost of fixtures that we purchased from the fixture suppliers. It has been a year since we remodeled our bathroom with the help of K-Wood Kitchens. We love it as much now as on the first day of completion! When we decided that the main bathroom in our 1960s era house needed an upgrade, we consulted with neighbours who had had renovations done in their similar houses. This enquiry produced a short list of two suppliers, one of which was K-Wood Kitchens. We viewed the work that each supplier had done in our neighbours homes. Both were excellent, so we requested quotes from each. K-Woods quote was substantially more expensive, but the consultative offering that included 3D computer modelling to help us visualize our ideas more than made up the difference. In retrospect, now that we know how many decisions had to be made to produce the final result, we realize how lucky we were to have chosen K-Wood. K-Woods advisor Endrina accompanied us diligently along the decision path, sometimes providing samples herself and sometimes hooking us up with external partners to help us find the right fittings and fixtures. We are glad that we chose K-Wood Kitchens for our bathroom renovations and, should we have need for future renovations in our home, we would not hesitate to hire them again.
