We had a major home renovation completed by DAT. This demo consisted of a main floor transformation which required the removal of a structural wall to create an open concept kitchen-Dining room. Hands down the best contractor in Barrie! Jesse and his team made renovating my basement a breeze. We recently used Master Homes Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. Anton came to the house to discuss the project and offer some advice as to the design aspect of what we were doing. We found him very knowledgeable, he made recommendations as to the layout and gave us a clear idea of what the project would look like when completed. We received a detailed quotation within a few days, numerous options with pricing. With some conversation we were comfortable with the quotation and agreed to move ahead. We were then introduced to Ashley who would be our design contact throughout the project. We had done the usual visits to the home stores and to be honest were a little overwhelmed, we really needed some direction and advice. Ashley made it so easy, she supplied numerous choices, with pricing, for each of the components from tile to taps, and really helped us with every selection, for us, that expertise saved weeks of wandering the aisles trying to figure out what we wanted. Once decided, Ashley ordered everything for us and had it delivered to our house. The crew showed up to start the demo on the agreed date, immediately covered my hardwood hall and stairs to avoid any damage as they removed the debris, they were careful to try to limit the dust as much as possible but by nature its a dusty job. Execution was flawless, we did have to make some decisions as to the waterproofing behind the new shower, Anton gave us three options with and actually recommended the LEAST expensive one for what we needed. We had a vacation planned that happened to fall in the middle of the project. We were so comfortable with Anton and his crew, we gave him a key, they continued working while we were away. The project was completed just as we got back, we were so pleased with the results. Both bathrooms look amazing, certainly exceeding our expectations, they even added undercabinet LED accent lighting, not included in the original quote but they thought we would like it. They were right, it added a whole spa like look to the bathroom. The project was completed a few weeks ago but I held off on my review as I knew there would be some minor call backs, there always are with any reno. The true test of a contractor is how well they handle the call backs. A flickering pot light, a sticky drawer on the vanity, they were there next day, resolved without question, we were very impressed. We did add some extras to the project as it progressed but overall they were on budget per their original quote. As a contractor Master Homes ticked all the boxes. On time, on quote, knew what they were doing, all the assistance we needed, daily updates on the project, immediate attention to the callbacks, and probably the most important factor, Trust. We will use them again for our next project without any hesitation, there are so many horror stories out there it was a pleasure and a relief to find a good honest contractor that goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the results. We selected Smart Bathrooms out of three companies we contacted and we were not disappointed. Natallia oversaw the project from start to finish and helped us select fittings and finishes. The crew, Vasyl and Dan, did an excellent job and their work was meticulous - and they tidied up at the end of each day. We had a couple of glitches on the project but Natallia dealt with them quickly and efficiently, and we finished only a few days behind schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Bathrooms but be prepared to pay top dollar for good work.

Flip Contractors, Michael and his crew were very professional. They were also personable, pleasant, timely and so very helpful. They obviously take great pride in their work. You can tell by the finished product. They were very respectful of our budget and you will find Michael very helpful with ideas and suggestions. They built a deck for us this past summer and did such an excellent job we didnt hesitate in having them back to finish our basement. We hired ProfLine to redo a basement bathroom and add a shower to it, plus put in an egress window. Because this is a basement bathroom with no window, they made sure I was aware of what needed to be behind the finishes...before giving me a quote. They were more motivated to make sure I was educated before signing with anyone. I really appreciated that, and that's what decided me to go with Profline. Design: It was an odd space, and they very cleverly got a 5' x4' shower with lots of space in there. Amazing. Pricing: I got 5 quotes, they were 3rd in terms of cost. Responsiveness: A+. They responded to my 1:30AM text in 5 minutes...and always responded. I never once had to chase. Timing: They scoped 3 weeks. It took 3 weeks. They would have been done sooner if it wasn't for the window sub-contractor. Trust: This was a remote job; I live in a different city.
