Aside from being a very nice guy, Lee is a very detail oriented craftsman. He made lots of very helpful suggestions during my renovation that definitely elevated the project to a higher level. My project involved, a total renovation of both my kitchen and bathroom, along with new lighting, tiling, drywall work, and installing new doors. The project took approximately seven weeks to complete, and at the end both my bathroom and kitchen look fabulous! Working in a condo is very difficult as there are a lot of rules, and Lee was very careful to keep the hallways and moving elevator neat and ensure that all the rules were being followed. I had to live in my unit for most of the renovation and Lee was able to come up with some ingenious ways to block off work areas from my living areas and minimize the dust and debris. Each day at the end of work Everything would always be tidied up and broom swept and left very organized. There were very few issues during the project, and for the most part, all of his team (Licensed plumber, electrician, Countertop fabricator, and installers) were very diligent and did great work. There some initial issues with the tiling job, but Lee was able to eventually resolve most of the issues by bringing in a gentleman who was very knowledgeable to fix the major items that were of concern. Im grateful that Lee is the type of contractor who really wants to make sure the client is 100% happy with the final project outcome. On the last day of my project, Lee and his father put all of my furniture back exactly where it was before the start of things and his lovely mother cleaned my place, so it was by the time they left, it was like no renovation had ever happened. That was a pleasant surprise and above and beyond! I had a fire in my house and had to start all Over again to put things back. I had a lot of pictures and shelves to put back. And the insurer’s contractor didn’t do a proper job of installing things properly things were shaking off walls and there was smoke behind the caulking in the bathroom. I did all my picture hanging in the office and over my 8 feet stairs. He also added my baby gate installed garbage bin on my cupboard added glue kitchen cupboard which was destroyed by the fans blowing out the water flood from the fire hose. Overall very professional good and he knows his carpentry and handyman work. Came on time and his price was very reasonable and fair compared to other contractors. We hired Caio and his team several years ago to do a complete renovation of the ground floor of our home, which is over 100 years old. The work they did was spectacular and included the installation of in-floor heating and removal of radiators. We were very satisfied. When the time came to renovate our second floor bathroom, Caio was the first person we called. Their work is impeccable and their attention to detail (which is very important to us) is impressive. But more than that, Caio and Luis are professional, polite and honest people. They listen, respect your home (and keep a very clean work site) and do what they say. Elie was readily available by text or phone throughout the project from start to end. He was very meticulous about the details but also adjusted onsite during the installation as our kitchen has some bowing walls and unexpected dimensions. I needed to remove and replace my basement flooring. My neighbour had work done by Ecolux Contracting and highly recommended them and as I had seen them around the neighbourhood doing work at various homes, I called them to take a look at the work I needed to be done and provide a quote. Jiyan of Ecolux Contracting assessed the work, provided suggestions and gave me a very reasonable quote and provided a timeline. Jiyan and his team started the job on time, moved the furniture, removed the old flooring and took care of the disposal. Together we chose the flooring, ordered it, and as soon as it arrived, it was installed. I am very pleased with the installation of the new flooring and baseboards. The workers were very experienced. They were true professionals.
