Goldwin Construction recently completed a structural project in my basement, replacing an old wooden beam with a steel one and handling all the related work: site prep, demo, installation, framing, drywall, finishing, and coordinating the engineer’s drawings and final sign‑off. From the very beginning, Brandon stood out for his professionalism and communication. He provided a clear and detailed estimate, answered all my questions, and kept me updated throughout the entire project with photos and progress notes—even while I was traveling. That level of transparency gave me a lot of confidence. The work was completed exactly as quoted, with no unexpected costs, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. His team was respectful, organized, and easy to deal with. Everything they said they would do, they did—and they did it well. I’m very happy with the final result and would not hesitate to hire Goldwin Construction again for future projects.

I am forever grateful that Sam from Amista Homes reached out when I initially submitted a service request at Homestar. Four years ago, I bought a bungalow with plans to convert it into a two-story home, moving my parents to the main floor and my kids and myself to the second. After struggling with my previous contractor for three years and getting nowhere, Sam stepped in last September, and now my home is 90% complete! Ive officially moved into the second floor, and the entire process has been smooth, fast, and truly amazing thanks to Sam and his team. Together, we handled everything from designing and permits to Committee of Adjustment approval, framing, stone and stucco, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, and tiling. The result is a 3,300 sq ft duplex, where the main floor features a large open-concept kitchen, living room, and dining area with two bedrooms and a fully accessible bathroom with a powder room customized for my parents. The second floor is designed for my family with an open-concept kitchen, living room, and three bedrooms plus a den with three full bathrooms. The two master bedrooms have walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms. I ended up getting everything I wanted and more. While the neighbors were initially unhappy, Sam handled everything professionally and made sure they understood the situation. The timing of the work was perfect for each team, and Sam remained very involved every step of the way. He worked closely with me while ensuring we stayed within a very tight budget. Were nearing the finish line of the original plan, and I couldnt be happier. I now have my dream home within budget. Thank you, Sam youve truly been a lifesaver! Lucas was recommended to me for this project by my realtor as their go to contractor. Lucas was brought on, on short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Lucas was able to provide a detailed quote outlining the work needed to be done and the approximate time frame to which he could complete said project. The work was done with very few delays due to circumstances out of both party's hands. Any issues brought up with the work (however minimal they were) were dealt with and rectified immediately. Lucas was very responsive to all forms of communication and professional throughout the project. I would definitely use Batt Builds for my next project and recommend them to anyone else in the area looking for a contractor.

We highly recommend Bevan and the team at Juniper Development Group. We recently completed a renovation that included interior, exterior and structural alterations to our property and our experience was outstanding. The scope included Interior: demo, drywall, flooring, custom doors + Exterior: balcony rebuild, retaining wall reconstruction, stamped concrete, & metal/glass railings. One of the things that stood out was they were always on time, communicated well, and kept the job site tidy, an aspect that both us and our neighbours appreciated. Bevan listened carefully to our ideas and offered helpful advice throughout the project. When unexpected issues arose, like the balcony and roof issue that was discovered, Bevan promptly addressed them, ensuring the repairs were done correctly which can be complicated on 100 year old homes. What impressed us most was the level of care and attention to detail. Bevan managed the project efficiently, keeping us informed daily/weekly and made sure we stayed within budget. Even when a temporary tarp blew off during a storm, they were there within an hour, fixing it in the pouring rain. Overall, our experience with Juniper was excellent. Bevan is a contractor who values communication, integrity, and quality work. We've already referred him to multiple friends/clients. He is now our go-to for everything house related.
