The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

I had an older style crank window that was broken. It was repaired even though it was not easy. The work was done properly and he would not leave until it was perfect. He managed to repurpose some parts he had to make it fit my window as parts are no longer available for this style window. Anyone else would have said it was unrepairable. The price was very reasonable considering the time and effort spent to fix. He also recommended new windows with very competitive rates. Great old world service with care - rarely seen anymore.

We needed to remove a sliding door to allow for a couch to be delivered. Vito was quick to respond to our request for service. He dropped by to assess the job and give us an estimate and then showed up on time the morning of the couch delivery to do the removal and reinstall of the door. Vito was efficient, tidy and friendly, and made quick work of the job. He even was nice enough to return to make a few adjustments the following day. Would highly recommend Vito and we'll use him again next time we have window and door needs.

Domenic has been very professional all throughout our interactions. His initial response was timely and friendly and quickly came down to assess my project. He was very receptive to some of my unconventional requests and worked with my budget. Once work began, Domenic went above and beyond what was listed in our contract. Out of pocket he did further repairs on my garage and did not come back to me with additional costs. His main concern was the integrity of the job and I was very impressed with his level of professionalism.
