Thanks Rey for your work on the carpet. We had to get the carpet reseamed due to water damage. Rey was reasonable and affordable and he did a great job. The carpet was damaged in one area beyond repair, but he was able to suggest ways to make it look the best possible. He did the work within a few hours of a day. We bought a home that needed significant work in order to fit our entire family comfortably and we wanted to turn the basement into a rentable apartment. We had never owned a home before and knew nothing about the type of work that was needed, nor did we know the regulations. VIP walked us through it all and made the whole process as painless as possible. They renovated a bathroom on the top floor. Added an en-suite bathroom to our master bedroom. Did the flooring, custom made stairs out of the flooring we chose, glass panes and oak bannisters. They took down the walls on the first floor creating a large open concept kitchen/dining room and living room area. They increased the windows and replaced one window with an exit from the dining room onto a deck in the back yard. They added a discreet powder room on the first floor and another one on the split level just below along with a hidden pocket door closet for the washer and dryer. They made an entire basement apartment, with a beautiful bright kitchen, a luxurious bathroom and bedroom. They installed larger windows to add more light, installed potlights and a separate exit. We could not be more pleased with their work. We have now rented out our inspected and approved basement apartment which they have designed in a way that it is completely independent of the rest of our home and feels like an entirely different property. All in all they renovated our entire home and turned our three bedroom, two bathroom, one powder room house into a spacious 5 bedroom, 3 full bathroom and 2 powder room home. The time they spent walking us through the process and being patient with us as we figured out what exactly we wanted, sometimes on the fly my family will always appreciate. The price they gave us was in line with what other companies charged but the care they showed when dealing with us and their attention to detail makes them worth much more. I wasn't sure about getting our fridge repaired or not because of its age being in the teens. The repair technician said he worked in the factory when our fridge was made. He said that our model was most certainly worth repairing. He also happened to have the right part (PC board) with him that we needed. In almost no time flat our fridge was purring away just like normal and done at a reasonable cost. We are happy customers and will tell others of our experience. I needed the fascia and wood trim replaced on an outside porch, as it was rotten. Calwyn gave me a quote and he answered my questions as to what types of material he would use, how long the job would take, etc. I felt confident that he knew how to do the job properly.
