They did a decent job of stamped and aggregate concrete for my lawn and backyard. But disappointed with their after work customer service and response. Few cracks showed up, but did nothing about it. Few spots with broken coating, but did nothing about it. When they layer gravel on the sides of the concrete, did not do a proper layering of the black material before putting the gravel, within a year grass started to grow. Wanted to get a proper drain because backyard neighbour raised issue, but did nothing about it. Basically they dont respond to you once they are completed, paid off and gone. Disappointing that even if its a big work and you had treated them cordially, upon fall up later they ignore you blatantly.

Lee knew exactly what the specs were for the fence gate to an Oakville park. He was happy to abide by the permit regulations for the fence. He was upfront about the cost which included labour and supplies. He welded it together offsite then came and install it while I was out. I came home and it was all done. I think the gate will outlast the house!

We worked with Mark to re-finish our basement after we had a small flood. This was our first big renovation in our home and needless to say we learned a lot about the process from Mark! The basement was old, and needed a full gut down to the studs which included a full bath renovation, some laundry room work and the main area (insulation, new lighting, new flooring, additional support post installation for future upstairs wall removal, some HVAC). We also had Mark update a powder room on the main floor. From start to finish Mark helped us understand what was happening and made sure we were made aware of things they found when walls were opened up and plumbing and electrical was exposed. All of the sub-contractors were great and showed up on time and when we expected them per Mark, and Mark was very responsive if we contacted him with questions and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the result. The work area was always kept exceptionally clean and was tidied at the end of each work day, which we really appreciated because we were still using the basement for laundry. Overall we have been thrilled with the end result and will be using Mark again to complete our main floor renovation next.

The job was completed very efficiently and on-time. I did not like the idea that I was dealing with a different installation company (Eco Star Home Services Co.) than the one that I initially communicated with via HomeStars (Absolute Heating and Cooling Inc.), plus more than one contact to receive critical information (e.g. warranty, invoice, receipt, etc). I also did not like the fact that because I wanted early assurance that the Tankless combo Water Heater/Boiler was registered for the warranty, that I had to make the call to the manufacturer myself. I have recommended that these companies work to make the process more seamless and efficient, and wrap up the warranty registration as soon as the job has been completed. I was hounded for payment, but the installation company did not feel the same kind of urgency in registering our warranty.

Hired to mount my TV, a complete disaster. He arrived unprepared, without the proper tools, and promised to return the next day ready to finish. Before coming back, he asked me to provide a stool and even requested cash to “rent a car and bring tools,” which was highly unprofessional. When he returned, he used his iPhone to level the mount instead of real tools, repeatedly asked for my help, and still couldn’t complete the job. I paid him half upfront, and he had the nerve to ask for more despite damaging my wall and leaving visible holes and scratches. I’m now left with repairs and no finished job. Stuart clearly lacked the skill or equipment for this work, avoid hiring him at all costs.

I'm writing this review because they were so important to us when trying to find a company to replace all of our soffit, facia, eaves and downspouts - we also included the Micro Mesh Leaf Guard and 5 pot lights. It was apparent that this company was providing a well regarded product and people were very happy with the service. They did not disappoint. From the initial consultation and quote by Wendel in July, to the top notch installation in November, we are very happy. The installation process was slightly hampered by delivery delays of the wood grain (Timberline) product but everything came together nicely. We also had landscaping upgrades in the works before hand which caused delays but were easily accommodated by the office administrators. They were very efficient. A pleasure to deal with and highly recommended.

Unreliable - never showed up. I had to call him to inquire where he was. Apologized and booked for the following day. Again no show and no call or text and did not respond to my call or text.
