I was referred UNIC by a neighbor who had some eavetroughs replaced. After reading several reviews UNIC was contacted to get a quote. My neighbor and I live in a semi and we wished to have vinyl siding, new facsia and soffits installed. The UNIC rep came to meet with us and was quite pleasant with us. He seemed to be very knowledgeable. A week after our meeting, we received a quote for the work. After pursuing several quotes for comparison and doing some additional research on UNIC, my neighbor and I decided to engage UNIC for the work. We met once again with UNIC rep, decided on colors, and discussed approximate time for the work to begin. The following morning, the UNIC contacted us advising that an error was made in the quote and the total cost for the job had increased by $6000. Not a small amount, almost double the original quote. I understand errors do happen, but a substantial increase in a quote at the time that a decision has been made is a bit troubling. Unfortunately we are now left to swallow the additional cost and start over trying to find another contractor, as winter quickly approaches. When getting quotes from UNIC, exercise caution when making a final decision. You may be left high and dry. Extremely disappointing experience...

Hogan Landscaping designed and delivered the lawn and garden of our dreams! Our front lawn was ugly. It was full of weeds, the soil was low quality, and the grass was a sight for sore eyes. Greg approached us with a plan and was open to our vision. His technical expertise impressed us right away and I knew I could trust him. His team of Duane, Brandon, and Jose were consummate professionals who were extremely knowledgeable and technical as they explained the reasons they did things. They were very responsible even when working in the space and cleaning up as well. With over 20 years of working with Greg, we knew we were in good hands. Greg stayed in communication with us the whole time. I could not be happier with Hogan's work. The team tore down and removed our unsightly lawn and garden and built up a masterpiece. I've never spent so much time outdoors tending to it. I can't stop admiring their work. Thank you, Hogan Landscaping!

Das was very professional in his service. His main concept is minimal damage to the home structure and doing things the right way. He gave a clear idea of the options available for pot lights and how best we can install them in our living room. I think Customer Satisfaction is very important for Das than profit. He did not push for any unwanted work. He listens to our concern and addresses it very well. Got to know that he does all kind of renovations, basement finishing etc too. I recently hired Subha to handle the gas line disconnect for my kitchen renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with his work! He was punctual, professional, and even adjusted his schedule to come earlier as per my request. Subha disconnected the gas line safely and efficiently, and patiently waited for me to make the necessary cuts in my island. When I was ready to go, he made himself available for the next day. He conducted several leak tests to ensure my safety as well. Overall, his dedication, price, and quality of work were top-notch. Highly recommend him for any gas line services and will personally only be using him in the future.

I had the privilege of working with DWC General Contracting during my kitchen and laundry room restructuring / remodelling. The owner of the company (Donovan) and his designer came out for a consultation to review the job. I was annoyed when they were 20 minutes late as I had a virtual work meeting to attend. During the initial consultation, Donovan provided some great ideas but ideas come with a cost and I was on a budget. My original plan was to change the builder cabinet doors and replace the handles. This plan changed as I started seeing the vision Donovan had for the space. My kitchen is 10ft in height and did not have uppers. I should be ashamed to say that I had no idea what uppers were, but after viewing pictures of Donovans past projects I saw the benefit in filling the unused space. During our second meeting the idea of including a side by side fridge was presented. I did not believe this style of fridge would fit the space I had. Donovan and his designer surprised me with a 3D digital drawing of my kitchen on their iPad. I was blown away with the concept, but still considering the cost of all these changes. In order for the fridge to fit, it would need to be relocated and the laundry room which Im not particularly fond of would also need a face lift. The kitchen drawing also provided changes to my laundry room and butler area. By pushing the laundry room wall back 6inches it would accommodate the side by side fridge with the water line being installed. Losing space was my next question and thats when the butler area idea was introduced. Donovan asked me how much I enjoyed doing laundry and spending time in the laundry room. I must say doing laundry is a chore I can do without. The suggestion of pushing the other wall from the laundry room which backs on to the butler area 16 inches would allow for additional cabinets to be installed. This job was looking extremely expensive but also extremely attractive. My eyes got bigger than my pocket and I told Donovan I was ready to proceed with the work. After years of a global pandemic and working from home, I was in need of an environmental change. The deposit structure was fair and the start date was scheduled three weeks later. My luck there were minor structural changes along the way but Donovan worked with me to keep the cost as low as possible. The water line became an issue as my basement was completed. Donovans team of workers were able to cut specific area of my basement ceiling to account for plumbing and the new gas line for a gas stove I never thought I would want. The job took a little longer than expected but I was extremely happy with the end result. The DWC team were all professional, courtious and friendly towards my daughter who would find herself getting in their way at times. Donovan stated he was a father and understood. When Donovan asked if I would provide a review I gladly accepted. He may have been late the first time, but he ended everything perfectly. Thanks to DWC I have an entire new kitchen, laundry room and butler area. Upon completion of the job Donovan had a team of two staff clean the main floor and basement as a thank you for employing them. Thank you DWC and I look forward to my next project. Hopefully next time youll show up on time the first time.

Both decks are not only beautiful, but still going strong after 10 years. In 2022, Drew replaced our fencing and gates, making significant improvements to the privacy in our yard. Drew is not only honest and reliable, but highly skilled. His work is built to last, reasonably priced, and always on schedule. We have received many compliments over the years! Based on our recent experience, Precise Tile absolutely makes that list. Fabian and Paul were excellent from start to finish. Fabian was responsive right away and demonstrated strong expertise early on. This was a living room tile installation—a true focal point of the home—and he helped ensure the new cabinetry and tile work would integrate cleanly. He reviewed the job in person in advance and was receptive to our request to use a specific material. Communication throughout was clear and consistent. During installation, Fabian and his colleague Paul did careful, detailed work. As always, a curveball or two came up, and they handled everything smoothly and professionally.
