Gutted our kitchen, master bath, shared bath, and powder room. Changed the flooring throughout the entire home. Closed our "open to above" area and added a bathroom to one of the bedrooms. Removed multiple support beams and walls. Absolutely LOVED my experience working with Amir! Right off the bat I felt a sense of trust when he came in to quote our project. He really lived up to his word. Came in on budget as quoted and completed the project within the timeframe stated. He was very patient and flexible as we worked through the project details. I posted a job on here in October 2023 to have the 2 small walls in my sun room (11 feet each in length) renovated - remove the old screen walls and replace them with framed drywall walls and a door to the outside. The door was to be an inexpensive 32 door with a window. Despite Rez having measured everything he did not realize he could not install an outward swinging door because it would hit the roof of my gazebo on my deck. It was his helper that noticed this during framing and offered the suggestion of sliding patio doors. Rez asked for an additional $500 for this change. I paid him immediately - the same day. It took months for the patio doors to be delivered and he promised they would be installed while I was on holiday from Jan 23 to 30, 2024. I came home and they were not installed. 2 weeks later he came and installed them. They are not level and do not latch or lock. Ive contacted him repeatedly to return and fix them and complete the job. There is still more drywalling to do, windows and doors to be trimmed and interior walls to be painted. He says he doesnt do exterior work in the winter - but he took 90% of the cost of the job before Christmas 2023! There is also exterior siding to be done and this also remains incomplete. I had a new glass shower installed a few years ago. The 10ft (6 inch wide) panel that connects to the door, came loose. Turned out the previous installation was done wrong. Limar came by to inspect. Showed me the problem. Required a new panel with proper hardware. Was able to re-purpose some components. Paid my deposit for the panel. They came and did a nice clean install job. We were looking to install sliding door for upgrading a den to an office room and called at least 5-6 other suppliers. Some did not call back, some gave a quote over the phone or ballpark without knowing much if anything about what we had and more importantly how we could upgrade and what options are available. We did get a call back from Lana from NIKADA Home solutions and after a comprehensive conversation , we already had some answers based on what we thought we wanted to do. Lana was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and patient with us while we were learning to navigate buying a sliding door. So many options, styles and colours etc. I'm sure we spent more time that others and she was there to answer any and all questions. We felt very comfortable with Lana and her suggestions. The sliding door was delivered and installed just after a week! by Alex who I must say did a fantastic job!! Very professional, courteous and cleaned up before he left. I wrote about Arian last year because of his incredible in person home visit re my Central Vac. system. I was so impressed by him that I vowed that I would never consult anyone else for all my Central Vac needs . This time around I needed to go in person to the Thornhill location as my hose was clogged ....and there was nothing we could do to unclog it . I called Arian , and he said to bring it in and they would take a look and see what could be done . Turns out my 8 year old sucked up a rock and some gravel ..go figure . No problem for team Amati . 24 hours later and not only was my hose clog free but they even tightend the screws in the handle . Basically giving me a brand new hose for next to nothing . Amati is honest and reliable . There was no tricky sales pitches to get me to upgrade ( the hose is over 30 years old ! ) and the price was more than reasonable . This was the first renovation that my wife and I had undertaken, and the Jiang's Design & Reno team did an excellent job! Over a period of 4 weeks, the team completed a scope of: resurfacing of approx. 800sqft of popcorn ceiling, replacement of all ceiling light fixtures, full gut and renovation of 2 bathrooms, and remodel of front entryway in our condo. We actually had to move into the unit around 1.5 weeks into the renovation (not ideal) but Evan and his team were very accommodating and worked with us to hand over certain portions of our unit while work continued. Items supplied/arranged by me: light fixtures, bathroom wall tiles, elevator bookings Everything else was handled by Evan and his team. Evan met with me for one day to go shopping for everything not mentioned above i.e. floor tile, vanities, plumbing fixtures, paint etc. Custom cabinets also sourced through Evan and team. Overall, we are very pleased with the results. Thanks again to Evan, Daniel and Ryan!!
