I would highly recommend this company. The did everything well from the sales dept in the showroom to the install crew and the follow up service dept. The installation crew were courteous and professional. They answered all of my questions and they impressed me by doing the little things correctly. The follow up service was good, they respect the manufacturer's warranty and were quick to fix any issues that occurred.

We knew Hernani and his dad for a while and had been looking at getting a driveway built by them. We had seen their work on their own driveway and it looked great. Based on that trust, we decided to get our own built by then. Its a very big 3 car driveway. The job started off in a timely manner, however the finishing is not what we expected. Our driveway had depressions where water started accumulating. There were also lots of holes where water started filling up. They made attempts to rectify the work, buts its not fixable. We later found out they had contracted out the entire driveway to another company while we were under the impression we were hiring them to do it. We just looked at the driveway midwinter and it looks like this driveway wont last for more than 2 seasons, we feel completely ripped off. Unfortunately I would not recommend them for driveway projects. At the end, we feel like we paid for low quality work whereas multiple neighbors in our area for beautiful driveways built for way less.

We had a great experience working with Sky Kitchen. Our designer Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient as we designed our custom kitchen. The showroom has a wide range of samples of cabinets, hardware, and countertops. The staff communicated well through phone and email and made scheduling and payments easy. The installation was done quickly with no mess left behind and we are very happy with the end product. For the prices and service, Sky Kitchen cannot be beat!

We contracted for a concrete pad to be installed to support a hot tub. After contacting several contractors for estimates we decided that Buildlux was the right choice for us. Antonio came to look at the site and give us an estimate. He asked all of the right questions and educated us on the work that was to be done and how it would be done. He was very accommodating as we did want to make a minor change (make the pad slightly smaller after the forming was up). This was done with a smile and the assurance "it's important to me that you are happy". The people who came were kind, courteous and worked with skill and purpose. We are very pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend Buildlux for any project that you are considering.

My first interaction with Andre was very positive, he seemed very knowledgeable and asked questions about the age and history of the home. He also said he only did one project at a time, and didn't start the next one until the previous was complete to our satisfaction. This feeling did not last very long once we had paid the deposit for the renovation. The original scheduled start date was in November. In October we received an email that it was delayed until February. Actual work didn't start until mid March. We agreed at the start of the project that if he needed to stay late if he was going to waste material (like grout or cement). What happened instead was he showed up most days between 10am-1pm and stayed 6-10 hours. Halfway through the project I clarified that I only wanted him in the house between 9-6 and the extra leeway was only for special circumstances. He came on time one day and returned to arriving between 10-1 after that. When demolition started, we was surprised that the walls of the 1930's home were not drywall, and had not heard of rocklathe that the walls were actually made of. He was also surprised the tub was made of cast iron. Both of which he charged more for above the quote price and added 1 week on the 2 week project. Once the bathroom was almost done, I had messaged him to confirm I was able to use the tub which he had tested. Once it drained, I noticed the ceiling below the tub was leaking, the original pipe was held together with epoxy and had come loose from the renovation. Another added cost, and I had to replace my own ceiling, he wanted to charge more and he was behind on the next job. He also moved the bathroom light switch to inside the bathroom, which was also not tested (it turned off all lights upstairs). The light switch move was a line item in the quote and paid for, but when I told him about it he would not entertain fixing the issue. In the end I will need to change this myself, even through I have paid for it and is a line item on the "add-on" quote. Other short nitpicks: - He did not install a shower curtain rod (not specifically called out in the job, but I had assumed that would be included) - Tiles not all flush with the wall, some sticking out - Did not get the tub we wanted, apparently it was out of stock on back order (we paid him the deposit 1 year before the work started) - Shower head was not installed well, o-ring was crushed and was leaking. Luckily I was going to replace with a different head so it was an easy fix The frustrating part is the bathroom itself is well done. If the Andrei and Jessica had just given an accurate quote from the beginning and did the work they said they would it would be a 9-10 star review. They are both very personable and very good hard working people. In the end, I would have been better off with a different company who quoted higher but had explicitly called out the complexity of working on an older home and likely wouldn't have had the surprise cost.

Yousef went above and beyond! What began as a minor shower lever issue of a worn gasket with a constantly leaking faucet head, quickly escalated into needing to replace the entire shower unit. He went straight to work resolving the matter and returning the next day to complete the repair and replacement with a whole new shower unit of which I highly recommend installation. Helpful. Hired Carl to completely renovate our bathroom, and we’re absolutely thrilled! Complete remake, taking out the old tiled-in tub and walled shower, and transformed it into an open space with a freestanding tub, glass and black meta shower, and a custom solid oak vanity. The quality of his work really stands out. Tiling and plumbing were done with real care, and you can tell he takes pride in getting details right. He kept the workspace neat and organized, brought floor protection, cleaned up as he went. He was great to work with; friendly, responsive, always open to questions or ideas. He listened, offered helpful suggestions, and worked with us to make our custom design and materials fit perfectly. When we had to make some small and one very large change along the way. He adapted easily and had the big change completely redone. He’s dependable, trustworthy, takes real pride in his work. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable contractor.

Hired Henry's Bobcat to excavate 3 LARGE (18" x 5') concrete fence footings from our yard, and drill four 18" holes for new posts. They were prompt, helpful, project cost was as we had agreed before hand (no hidden fees). The employee who came to our home worked hard all day on our yard, completed the work on time (which was important to us because another contractor was coming that evening to carry out the next step), and was easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend the company. I was a little surprised that there was no written contract drawn up before hand for the work - our verbal agreement was the all we had, but Henry's Bobcat did an excellent job honouring their word.
