Repair windows- 23 Jan 2025
From inspection to quote to repair the process was seamless. I highly recommend Basco for your repair needs. 6 month review: My first impression were incorrect. The window is still leaking from exactly the same place. When the Basco Manager inspected the repair the story changed from "we know what the problem is and can fix it" to "there are no guarantees with water and this is the solution for most people, sorry there is nothing we can do for you now" He then suggested that I have thermal imaging done to determine where the water was coming from . A server that they do not provide and thus was not suggested as a better first step. Had they told me they were guessing I would not have spent $700 to TRY a Band-Aid solution.

This is the first on-line review I have ever submitted but I felt my experience with South Peak warranted it. A competent and honest contractor with great customer service delivering at a competitive price. Imagine that :-). I was impressed at every step of the experience. Sales Rep 'Ivan' did a careful inspection of the work required for the estimate, double checked his work, making sure they'd deliver the work and price what he quoted. Unlike many sales rep's who are never seen again after awarding the contract, Ivan kept us informed on timelines to source the materials and actually attended during the work and followed up after completion to ensure we were satisfied. 'Amanda' in Admin clearly understood what information customers want/need and when, and provided all such information/documents at each step in the project, and without any prompting from us. The crew were professional, on-time and even worked late to ensure completion before the weather changed. They did a great job including several special requests I had thanks to the meticulous efforts and supervision of Crew Lead 'Augustine'. He double checked all work and even personally repeated some clean-up steps, without us even asking, demonstrating his commitment to excellence. In short, no negative surprises and no disappointments! Given the prevalence of 'shady' contractors (especially roofers), we were enormously relieved to have worked with South Peak.

Repair or treat facade- 23 May 2025
Iain just finished fixing the damage to the stucco caused by the woodpecker and it looks great. If I don’t know it had been damaged I’d have a hard time pointing out where it was. When meeting he listened to my concerns and explained what needed to happen. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the work. I had several quotes for the job. I chose IRN due to his understanding of what I needed. I would highly recommend IRN to anyone who wants a great job at a good price within a decent time frame. I highly recommend Sealerman Waterproofing’s services. Cody addressed the basement window box water damage, and from my photos of the July 2025 flood, he was able to pinpoint the probable cause of the water entry into the basement---he suspected cracks at the windows and at the floor/wall junction. When some of the drywall and baseboards were removed, that was exactly what he found. A quote was prepared, and Cody’s team took approximately 3 days to remove the perimeter drywall, insulation, and remove the studs to access the cracks in the concrete walls and floors to repair and seal them. He required no cash up front to do the job. He showed me all the areas affected and explained what needed to be done. The worksite was tidied up when they left, ready for Chris to repair the drywall. Cody and his team are knowledgeable, experienced, diligent and polite. And the work is guaranteed for 10 years. It was a pleasure to work with this company.
