I was with great pleasure and complete satisfaction I had with the experience of having David to do our floors. David showed up with a wonderful personality and enthusiasm to take on our situation. It was a 2 day process, resending and finishing approximately 1000 sqft of hardwood floor. Set up for success, David had all the proper equipment, but most of all, over 30 years of experience, truly being a master craftsman at his craft. I would without any hesitant recommend David for any floor renovation. When I contacted Chris a few weeks ago regarding a repair for the storm door at my parents house it was because I remembered that he had repaired the screen in the storm door at our house a number of years ago and had done a great job. One of the clips that enables the movable window within the door to slide up and down had broken. At first, I had called a few companies listed online under screen door repairs, but almost none of them would come out for such a small job and the rest were quoting ridiculous prices. When I called and left a message for Chris, his son and business partner Hayes responded within minutes. I texted him a photo of the door, described the problem and he texted me right back with an appointment for the next day and a very reasonable price for the job. He and Chris attended at my parents house on time and did a terrific job repairing their storm door. Based on this experience, I called Chris again about the storm door at our own house. I had been putting off replacing it due to the cost and difficulty finding a company that would replace a single storm door. (They all want larger jobs involving multiple windows and door replacement). Replacement seemed the only way to go because there were so many things wrong: it was misaligned so there were gaps at the bottom and top where insects were getting in, the pneumatic closing mechanism as well as the lock were broken, and the screen was not staying in place. I texted Chris photos of the problems and he immediately responded that he could take care of it, and the price quoted was significantly lower than the replacement cost. Chris and Hayes attended at our house exactly when they said they would, kept the work area tidy, and did a fantastic job- the door is as good as new!
