We own a one hundred year old semi detached home in East York. The house had been renovated several times in the past, but was in desperate need of a complete redesign. We completely gutted the entire interior, opened up the main floor and reconfigured the basement and second floor. We added a bedroom over the kitchen at the back, and converted the mud room on the front back to a porch. We also added new roofs, siding and trim. We were immediately impressed by Simon and his team. Their ability to effectively cost out our project, provide detailed budgets and help us negotiate this huge project cannot be understated. They were excellent at communicating and liaised with our architect and our engineer seamlessly. Simon walked us through the permit process, and was available to help troubleshoot obstacles. He and his team were always willing give my wife and I sage advice on design or layout details when asked. They installed 8.5kw system on my roof. They said they have alerts in case of issues with the system and they will come by and fix it. My system stopped working in Aug and until I reached out to them when I got the high bill in November, no one noticed it. Even after my phone app is not recording properly but they it's not in warranty. So they don't monitor and I can't monitor either. The system is designed and costed for 8.5 kw and Milton Hydro says for the total year they received only 3.8kw. Very poor performance and no one is ready to look into it. It's very difficult to get response from them either by phone, email and I visited the office address and the security data its a condo building and there is no company by name Solar X is registered there.Latest review:True Contractors

True Contractors did an excellent job in renovating a complicated principal bedroom and bathroom. Their attention to detail and creative solutions are unmatched.
