Choosing Neo Kitchen for our kitchen and vanities renovation was the best decision we made and we are very happy with the work they did in our new home. From the start of the process, it was a pleasure working with Michael to design our layouts and make our kitchen and vanity selections. We are quite picky and often changed our minds as we thought of new ideas and Michael was extremely patient through it all and gave excellent advice and insights based on his many years of experience. No matter how many questions we asked, he always answered with a smile that made us feel comfortable and confident that our needs were being understood. Gaby was also extremely helpful and accommodating with our questions and requests to come into the showroom to look at samples. She was a big part of making the experience successful for us as we are very detail oriented and needed to see things with our own eyes to help make decisions. Kevin and his team were very respectful and friendly when they came into our home for measurements and installation. Like us, they pay close attention to detail to make sure everything is installed properly and they are very efficient, tidy, professional, and accommodating with their work. We had some specific requests with our island wiring and work around ductwork and it was all perfectly taken care of. The team Michael works with to install countertops also did an excellent job and were very friendly and easy to work with. The quality of the workmanship and materials used by Neo Kitchen is also top notch for a reasonable price. The cabinets themselves are strong and the paint finishes are all top quality. And Michael is a man of his word - we discovered a small bubble in the paint on one of our vanity doors and Michael took care of it immediately without any hesitation. Believe me, that sort of "make it right" professional attitude makes a world of difference when you're renovating your home. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with Michael and his team and we highly recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen or bathroom renovation or new build. They honestly took a huge concern off our minds and made it all work out flawlessly without any headaches or concerns at a time when we needed that most. Looking back, all we can say is Thank You Michael and team! We appreciate everything done for us and we absolutely love our beautiful kitchen and vanities!

I found Renomar Inc on HomeStars, and they just completed a main bathroom, total gut renovation at my century old home. I was very impressed right from the beginning to the end. Olimpiu provided me with a reasonable quote, as well as excellent insight into some ideas and recommendations. When he discovered issues with the subfloor, he explained his concerns and gave me a quote for the additional service, respecting that the ultimate decision was mine. I chose to use my own plumbers (because I had a history with them), and provide all the main fixtures – vanity, inset medicine cabinet, tub, faucets, and toilet. I made sure all were on site before the work started which sped things up as Renomar had these items to measure and check as work progressed. The tile workmanship was meticulous, the drywall crisp and clean. The construction site was swept, contained, and tidied every evening. The entire job took 12 days and the workmanship is impressive. I would highly recommend them.

Sam was very helpful throughout the entire design process while I was finishing my basement. My goal was to create a concept as open as possible with a ceiling as high as possible. I selected Sam, because he is an engineer which gave me the reassurance that he could safely complete this project. Our original goal was to remove the structural post in the middle of my basement and Sam went above and beyond. Not only did he manage to seamlessly install a 20+ foot beam, but his team was able to re route the HVAC ducts which enabled me to raise my ceiling even further. By reinforcing my existing beam, Sam was able to remove the post and give me the open concept I was dreaming about. Sam is super organized. His team worked efficiently, showed incredible attention to detail and left the space spotless. Would recommend Sam to anybody who needs any type of structural work!

This company did our front landscaping with interlock and small area with shrubs in summer of 2015. Now its 2016, the interlock is sinking, stones are moving and grout has washed away. They keep ignoring my messages, phone calls, etc. They said they did a "drive by" to check whats wrong, without us even being home to show them the problem. don't ever take this company, terrible.

Ive been in the same boat as most people here, youre scouring the reviews hoping to gauge how good a potential contractor is. Ill give you the quick summary first: McLaren Custom Homes is now our trusted partner in any home project my family or friends get involved in. I say partner because you genuinely will feel you are collaborating with a company that is on your team. This is the first company Ive ever worked with that I can be completely honest about finances with. I cant stress enough how important that is on large projects. Now, for the long-winded version It actually started with a quote on a garage at my old house that convinced me that I could work with this company. Jons quote was more thorough than any other company I had spoken with. He was also the only one to discuss cost options while pricing instead of just demanding to know my top budget. It built a lot of trust that he was pricing the cost of the work and not just agreeing to my budget. I HATE when Im asked my budget first because I dont know the cost of each portion of work so I cant tell if Im being ripped off or not. Although we had decided to use Jon if we went forward, we sold that house and bought another property While house-hunting I decided to email Jon and ask how I could loosely estimate costs related to extensions or additions. Keep in mind, I wasted this guys time on a detailed quote for a project I never did. I wasnt expecting an answer. A couple days later I got a very long and detailed email describing general numbers I could use with examples of different levels of finish. He didnt respond right away to just get me off his back. He waited until he could properly respond. I told my wife we absolutely have to use this guy on whatever we buy. We bought an old house with a crappy layout and knob and tube wiring. We knew we had some work to do. Of course I had Mclaren come and quote on a complete remodel of the main and upper levels of the house. I was going to try to save money by leaving the basement and exterior alone. I got the same level of care I got for my previous quote. Detailed walk through with lots of notes and discussions on options. Sometimes Jon would lead me to a better solution than I planned. Sometimes I wanted what I wanted and Jon respected that. He wasnt the only one to quote. He was the only one to provide a quote that properly described all the work involved. It broke down the many layers and order of operations. I found myself wasting so much of his time on the phone discussing things and changing things. At that point I just hired him because we were already collaborating on this. Of course, I am not the easiest customer because as soon as we started I changed my mind about doing the basement and exterior. These were properly quoted and discussed to get solutions that fit my budget (which I now felt completely open discussing!). Of course, when dealing with an old house, you are going to run into problems. We ran into a few big ones including some structural issues. Jon would walk me through the problem and we would discuss the options and costs. Whether we needed engineering or specialized trades, the solution was always available. Jon also coordinated all the appropriate documents and inspections with the city. Right through to the end of the project, I was changing minor things or asking for some extras. These were all handled with the same level of care and cost-consciousness as all the scheduled work. One little touch that I loved was the project group chat. All the guys are on it and actively update. At any point in time I could get pictures or videos or send links for ideas I liked. It meant that I didnt just have access to Jon. I could directly speak to Ross or Dan about whatever specific things they were working on. Or we could all give opinions on options that would pop up. It kept everyone updated and on the same page. Why dont more companies do this?! I could keep going but you get the idea. In the end, I cant begin to describe how happy I am with how my house turned out. I got the look and quality I wanted at the cost I expected. I could have given these guys a stack of blank cheques and I wouldve spent the same exact amount down to the last penny. Archil and his team were amazing to work with! We had been putting off our basement project for 2 years as we did not know who to trust and some quotes we got were extremely expensive. Archil provided a fair quote and was able to start our project almost immediately, and finished on time as well. The best part was the kept exactly to the price quoted without any surprise costs along the way. They were extremely flexible when we needed to make changes and were extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them for anyone considering a project in their home!
