Our little team arrived on time and were friendly, cheerful and hard-working. Preparing for the paint job was a bit of a pain, but definitely worth the trouble as everything now looks so clean and fresh. We decided to go with Vantage after speaking with a few contractors because, right off the bat, my wife and I could tell how knowledgeable Peyman was. Our job was a drop-beam removal in the basement ceiling to get a clean, flat ceiling and make the room feel larger. Vantage handled everything end-to-end: dust containment, temporary shoring, coordination with the structural engineer, permit and inspections, and replacing the old drop beam with a flush structural beam recessed between the joists. The difference is huge—no more bulkhead cutting across the room, better sightlines, and a much more open feel. They finished within the agreed timeframe, kept us updated at each step, and left the site clean every day. Pricing was transparent, the crew was respectful of our home, and the craftsmanship shows in the perfectly level ceiling and neat drywall/finishing around the new beam. If you’re considering wall/beam work or basement drop-beam removal, we highly recommend Vantage and Peyman.

The good news is that the Trane heat pump problem reported in MAY was resolved in mid-October, thanks to the skill and persistence of technicians, chiefly Adam. The first visit was early in July. The technician was unable to find the cause of the problem and tried to contact Tech Support. Tech Support was not available so the Tech went away saying he would do research and come back with a solution. I called a week later to make another appointment - in August. Again the Tech was unable to fix the problem but was able to reach Tech Support and was told that the heat pump was designed to not operate unless the outside temperature was below 15C. Nonsense! A visit early in September tried to contact Tech Support but was on hold for 90 minutes. The tech had 3 more calls to make that day so I sent him away. Another visit in September found an error code that suggested defective pressure sensors. These were replaced at the next visit but the problem wasn't solved and another error code showed a defective circuit board. This was installed in October. Problem solved. The company's response to my June review invited a dissatisfied customer to contact Brendon, the company owner. This I have been trying to do since early November. After several phone calls and a promise to arrange a meeting with Brendon I am still waiting.

This review is long overdue. Ive been working with Rigid Frame since 2022 and have used their services for multiple projects, including my own house in Toronto. The Rigid Frame team is highly experienced and exceptional in architectural design, structural engineering, and construction. Having worked with several design teams in the past, I feel fortunate to have found them at the right time. While they may not be the cheapest option, they are absolutely worth every penny. Communication is seamless, and throughout the construction process, its incredibly valuable to receive a professional response right on the spot. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking to work with a company that truly understands the entire construction process from A to Z. Masters of Their Craft! We initially hired Reza to design and build a deck around our new hot tub. The finished product included a privacy panel and stairs. We were so impressed with Reza and his teams professionalism and expertise that we hired them again to design and create a backyard retreat which included privacy fencing. Rezas team created a beautiful stone patio and firepit which connected to a stone pathway along the side of our house. The garden was cleaned up and a stone border was installed. When the backyard looks better than the front yard, what do you do? Work with Reza again to create the design! The front of our house now has a stone garden bed and pathway, and privacy screening which complements the natural beauty of our neighbourhood. To tip this design over the top, Reza added soft outdoor recessed lighting along the pathway, and spotlights in the garden bed. Rezas team also built a solid wood garden bed in front of the porch and added lighting as well. Reza and his team are masters of their craft. The team is meticulous and friendly, and their work is impeccable. Reza is a wonderful person and very easy to work with. We are so happy with the results they truly made our house a home and we cant thank them enough. We will be hiring Reza for all future projects and highly recommend them. Ray did a great job on repainting the siding at the front of the house. The house looks like new again. When he did the work he also helped power wash the other areas that didn't need repainting but did need some cleaning. Ray is responsive and fair and I would work with him again.
