This was the first renovation that my wife and I had undertaken, and the Jiang's Design & Reno team did an excellent job! Over a period of 4 weeks, the team completed a scope of: resurfacing of approx. 800sqft of popcorn ceiling, replacement of all ceiling light fixtures, full gut and renovation of 2 bathrooms, and remodel of front entryway in our condo. We actually had to move into the unit around 1.5 weeks into the renovation (not ideal) but Evan and his team were very accommodating and worked with us to hand over certain portions of our unit while work continued. Items supplied/arranged by me: light fixtures, bathroom wall tiles, elevator bookings Everything else was handled by Evan and his team. Evan met with me for one day to go shopping for everything not mentioned above i.e. floor tile, vanities, plumbing fixtures, paint etc. Custom cabinets also sourced through Evan and team. Overall, we are very pleased with the results. Thanks again to Evan, Daniel and Ryan!!

I’ll summarize this as immature and unreliable. Knowing our hot-tub delivery deadline, we agreed to start the concrete pad project the same week on Friday. I canceled other contractors and signed a contract. Later, Tony asked to push the project to Sunday (which was awkward since it was Easter). He then realized everything was closed and asked to extend it to the following Wednesday or Thursday. I rescheduled the hot-tub delivery with the pool company because the concrete needed to cure, and there was no way to pour it on time. On Wednesday, I received a call that he can perform the job next month, not tomorrow. So, I am left without a pad and couldn’t find a contractor at this price because of the delivery I can't re-schedule again. He wasted a week of my time and money as I need to pay extra to perform this job on time. To be fair, he was communicative and returned my deposit...yet I hope he will learn the lesson that schedules have real consequences. Unfortunately, at my cost.Latest review:Paving-Hsbsnx

I highly recommend Handyman Kwik Solutions (Sam and his team) after they just finished three separate jobs: 1) for a backyard studio-shed I had built several years ago, fixing some poor framing from the previous contractor, insulating, and drywalling; 2) working with an electrician to excavate a trench (including through concrete) from house to shed for an 100 amp electrical pipe; and 3) adding flashing on all sides of the studio-shed. All work was done to a very high, fully professional standard. Everything was done as discussed -- with added touches that Sam's conscientious professionalism told him needed to be done for him to feel satisfied with the work (notably partially rebuilding one storage loft area and the very finicky, expert drywalling of it and another storage loft). As a bonus, the time between quoting and doing the work was very quick -- Sam fit our fairly small job (about a week of work) before another major job was due to start.
