When our furnace started to malfunction, I called Edward, who was my furnace maintenance serviceman. Edward came by and gave our furnace a temporary fix. He pointed out that there was a leakage in the system, and the fix would likely not last. Seeing that our furnace was twenty years old, my wife and I decided it was time to replace the system, and since Edward had given us good reliable service in the past, we thought he would be the appropriate provider. Two days later, Edward arrived as scheduled with two other servicemen. They fully protected (the flooring of) the part of the house through which they had to move the equipment to get to the basement where the furnace is normally housed. They cleared an adequate area so that they could worked reasonably comfortably. For three to four hours, they worked furiously at dismantling the old furnace, and installing the new one. Throughout the process, they seemed to know exactly what to do. The only question they had was one concerning the exhaust pipe, as regulations have changed. In the end, they completed the installation, moved everything in the basement back in place, and did a general sweep up. Because the new furnace is a little smaller than the old one, the basement actually seems to have gained some space in the process. At the conclusion of the installation, Edward accompanied me to the site, explained the equipment to me. He also explained the invoice to me and answered my queries. This marks the second time I have dealt with Edward, first time being furnace maintenance last year. I always find him to be a very trustworthy person. He is quiet but he tells you everything you should know and need to know. He is a man of his words, and certainly very knowledgeable, and gets things done. This company was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad that I took the advice. The owner, Sam, is a perfect gentleman and did a superb job renovating my kitchen and bathroom. He's an experienced plumber and electrician, so never needed to call in subcontractors. The price he quoted was fair, and he never asked for more money because the job was proving "more difficult than expected". My experience with contractors in the past has been spotty, but Sam was honest to a dime, and even added upgrades at his expense because he thought they made the work look better. He runs a tight little team who are perfectionists. He frequently asked me if everything was to my liking. Communication was perfect; I never had to wait for an answer to a question. I highly recommend this company.

I hired Canada Wide Plumbing to replace a leaking P-trap under my kitchen sink. Flavio, the plumber who came out, was excellent. As he began the work, he discovered additional issues that required immediate attention. He took the time to clearly explain and show me the problem, and it was clear the repairs were necessary. While addressing that, Flavio also found and fixed another issue caused by a cleanout that had been left uncovered by the previous owner. I’m incredibly grateful for his thoroughness, professionalism, and honesty. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was done properly. We hired Allan and company to drywall our entire basement following underpinning. His work included sourcing the materials, installing, taping, and mudding. We were so happy with Allan and his team that we hired him for the priming and painting immediately after the drywall. Allan's work was top notch throughout and done on schedule. We had our own GC working on the job and they coordinated perfectly throughout. Allan's communication throughout the project was excellent. He kept us well informed of what was going on and when we could expect people to be in our house. When we had questions or concerns, he was quick to answer them. We have an infant and a toddler at home so noise and dust were major concerns for us. Allan and his team were very accommodating. The work was quiet and the dust was kept to a minimum. We were looking to install sliding door for upgrading a den to an office room and called at least 5-6 other suppliers. Some did not call back, some gave a quote over the phone or ballpark without knowing much if anything about what we had and more importantly how we could upgrade and what options are available. We did get a call back from Lana from NIKADA Home solutions and after a comprehensive conversation , we already had some answers based on what we thought we wanted to do. Lana was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and patient with us while we were learning to navigate buying a sliding door. So many options, styles and colours etc. I'm sure we spent more time that others and she was there to answer any and all questions. We felt very comfortable with Lana and her suggestions. The sliding door was delivered and installed just after a week! by Alex who I must say did a fantastic job!! Very professional, courteous and cleaned up before he left.
