Arthur was a pro from the beginning. On time for the estimate, clear explanation of what needed to be done, why, and cost. The job was done on time no extra costs, It was an excellent job, and the job site was left completely clean with a magnetic sweep so there were no nails left to puncture a tire. I had a yellow stain appear on my ceiling on the second floor bedroom of my house. The house is only 7 years old so admittedly I was upset and worried as to where the water was coming from. This was on a Friday evening. On Saturday morning I contacted Alex around 8am in the morning and by 10am Alex was on my driveway. This was extremely positive. Alex takes the time to listen and then gets to work. He's mindful of not making a mess when he works and takes time to explain what he's doing. Alex explored the attic crawlspace and the roof which is no easy feat given how tall my house is. He identified the source of the leak being a rusty exposed nail and identified additional areas that my builder did not caulk and improper shingle installation. Alex provided me with photos and videos to approach my builder with. He explained what he did to remedy the leak and advised me to call him back if it happened again. My experience with Consumer Direct was excellent. We needed a new exterior laundry room door and another for the garage. We went into the showroom with no clear idea of what we wanted, but got some great advice right off the bat (which we ended up following to a T). During the consultation/purchase phase, everything was straightforward: we had clear info, costs, timelines. Several weeks later they called when the doors were delivered - we were lucky to get an install the next day (before the polar vortex hit) - and the installers were neat and efficient. Everything happened exactly as planned. The doors are gorgeous and no more cold drafts (our previous door and install from a different company weren't good, you get what you pay for)!
