Henry and his team did a fantastic job with the garage door. From the start, Henry was extremely responsive, promptly answering all of my questions. On the day of installation, they took great care with the items in the garage. I was impressed by how quickly everything was completed — the installation of the door and the new opener took less than five hours. I hired Levani Custom Renovation to build a fence on one side of my backyard and described in detail what the fence layout is wanted which was identical to the existing side so instead of simply coping the existing side they spaced the posts completely different at 8' centre's instead of 7' like it was supposed to be. They missed 12 pieces of horizontal 2'×6's for supports on one side which l explained how much material was needed per section of fence with detailed pictures of the existing side. The workmanship was poor and they didn't speak any English so they didn't understand anything that was told to them. I reached out to Levani to please come and install the missing pieces as I didn't notice they were missing since they were on my neighbors side and I paid them in full. They refuse to complete the missing pieces. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT AS I DO.

When our furnace started to malfunction, I called Edward, who was my furnace maintenance serviceman. Edward came by and gave our furnace a temporary fix. He pointed out that there was a leakage in the system, and the fix would likely not last. Seeing that our furnace was twenty years old, my wife and I decided it was time to replace the system, and since Edward had given us good reliable service in the past, we thought he would be the appropriate provider. Two days later, Edward arrived as scheduled with two other servicemen. They fully protected (the flooring of) the part of the house through which they had to move the equipment to get to the basement where the furnace is normally housed. They cleared an adequate area so that they could worked reasonably comfortably. For three to four hours, they worked furiously at dismantling the old furnace, and installing the new one. Throughout the process, they seemed to know exactly what to do. The only question they had was one concerning the exhaust pipe, as regulations have changed. In the end, they completed the installation, moved everything in the basement back in place, and did a general sweep up. Because the new furnace is a little smaller than the old one, the basement actually seems to have gained some space in the process. At the conclusion of the installation, Edward accompanied me to the site, explained the equipment to me. He also explained the invoice to me and answered my queries. This marks the second time I have dealt with Edward, first time being furnace maintenance last year. I always find him to be a very trustworthy person. He is quiet but he tells you everything you should know and need to know. He is a man of his words, and certainly very knowledgeable, and gets things done. Now I know he is also technically very competent, and can organize teams to get systems installed.

The project started with building a deck which turned out spectacular. Because of the excellent work by Damion and the the project was expanded to include decking around the pool as well as a cantilever pergola. All work was done satisfactorily on budget and on time.

The windows for my house were due for replacement. I did a considerable amount of research, determined what I wanted and narrowed my options to 3 manufacturers. I'm normally a DIY guy but realized that these windows are not sold to the public. I did my due diligence and got quotes from several contractors. I came across GTA Direct Windows & Doors. They provided a very competitive quote, but what really sold me was they were very candid, knowledgeable, and didn't try to upsell. I asked about my wired security system and they said it would be preserved - I would only need to put the contacts on the new windows. Other contractors told me the system would be trashed by the install. GTA Direct told me installation would take 1.5 days. I was very skeptical and a bit anxious about anyone installing 21 windows in that short amount of time. However, they completed the job at noon on the second day, took away all the scrap and left my home very clean. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the install. Alex is extremely easy to work with. He kept me updated on schedules, and was easily reachable when I had questions. He even contacted me after completion to ensure I was satisfied. It may not be a big deal, but customer service is high on my list of attributes I consider when hiring contractors. I would highly recommend GTA Direct.
