The windows for my house were due for replacement. I did a considerable amount of research, determined what I wanted and narrowed my options to 3 manufacturers. I'm normally a DIY guy but realized that these windows are not sold to the public. I did my due diligence and got quotes from several contractors. I came across GTA Direct Windows & Doors. They provided a very competitive quote, but what really sold me was they were very candid, knowledgeable, and didn't try to upsell. I asked about my wired security system and they said it would be preserved - I would only need to put the contacts on the new windows. Other contractors told me the system would be trashed by the install. GTA Direct told me installation would take 1.5 days. I was very skeptical and a bit anxious about anyone installing 21 windows in that short amount of time. However, they completed the job at noon on the second day, took away all the scrap and left my home very clean. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the install. Alex is extremely easy to work with. He kept me updated on schedules, and was easily reachable when I had questions. He even contacted me after completion to ensure I was satisfied. It may not be a big deal, but customer service is high on my list of attributes I consider when hiring contractors. I would highly recommend GTA Direct.

We found Marjan and On-Time via homestars. He answered my request for quote immediately, was on the phone with me and came out to survey the job within a couple days of my initial request. Marjan was very detailed in how he'd approach the deck in terms of the materials he'd be using and how it would be built. (He had me at "joist protection" :) ) We agreed to move ahead, and all I had to do was pick our deck colour and rails and Marjan handled everything else. My understanding is he usually has other people helping but I guess they were unavailable so Marjan built it *by HIMSELF* in 3.5 days. And we're talking 2x12s with carriage bolts, cedar posts, 16x8 foot deck 12 or so feet in the air. Not only was he quick, I, without exaggeration, have the best deck on the street. I've watched crews of 3-4 guys build my neighour's decks slower, without the same level of quality Marjan brought. Pure skill and experience. A total Pro. We had an awful paint job done as part of a very challenging renovation. Colour Works came in always cognizant of our situation, cleaned up (painted)the mess and restored it to a thing of beauty. They are prompt and efficient, respectful and courteous and a pleasure to deal with, from Dee through to Denis and his team. Eduard was outstanding. He quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and returned to install them. He wouldn’t accept payment until we tested the oven for several days to make sure that the issue was resolved. Highly recommended.

The steps and porch area had crumbling concrete making it unsightly and not safe. Yoni and his crew recently completed the work and was very helpful in suggesting the best way to remediate the problem and make it more ascetically pleasing. His crew worked very hard to complete the project on time and also corrected some drainage issues to protect it from future damage I could not be more happy with the finished product. It is beautiful! I highly recommend this company and will definitely call them for any future jobs I may have in my home.

I used this company when I moved condos in late august. I needed a quick booking because move was unexpected but they delivered. They were well organized and took good care of my belongings.
