We cannot say enough about Dream Team Construction and the owner, Jason. We have worked with Jason on several projects over a number of years in 2 different homes. DTC and Jason was referred to us when we needed to urgently replace rotting wood frame windows in our primary bedroom where there was considerable water damage to the walls and floor. And it was right around Christmas 2015! They were able to remove the old windows, repair sub-flooring, flooring and drywall. They were flexible to work with the schedule of the window company and carpet installers. Their work was amazing quality and so when we needed to update our main bathroom next, we called DTC right away. The sink was leaking and the pipes had corroded and we needed repairs/replacement right away! Again, they were able to fit us in quickly and did wonderful work we replaced everything but the bathtub. Jason easily installed new flooring, repaired/replaced damaged drywall, prepped for painting, installed new toilet, vanity, sink, plumbing etc. Everything looked and worked perfectly and lasted for many years. Jason also has a modern esthetic that assists in project planning and working within specific budget parameters. DTC next did a complete renovation of our basement. Jason created a few options for us to choose from based on our vision and needs. We moved forward with one option that was completed on time, on budget and he working closely with us on all aspects. Jason brought in the right people to wire and install all electrical. Jason personally worked on all prep of walls, sub-floor and then installation of a new staircase, all drywall (walls and ceiling), doors, flooring, electric fireplace, all wiring for entertainment system and electronics. Everything completed with precision and great attention to detail. Jason isnt done until it is perfect! We then completely gutted and renovated our ensuite bathroom which involved replacing tub with a beautiful glassed in spa shower complete with tiled niches, pebble stone floor, custom glass doors and custom storage system. All walls were replaced with bead board, plumbing, fixturing and flooring replaced. All done again to perfection, and on schedule. When we moved homes, Jason travelled to work with us again and installed a new floor to ceiling stone tile surround around our family room fireplace, updated the lighting, moving us to smart lighting, installed a faux ceiling beam and beautiful wood mantel. As well, working in a wiring system and mounting our TV above the fireplace. He also installed stock cabinetry that he framed to ensure it looked built in and incorporated into the fireplace wall. It all came together so beautifully! Most recently, we had DTC back to update 2 bathrooms for us with drywall repairs, installation of new plumbing, new vanitys, lighting all in a matter of 2 days! A few more things about DTC and Jason: he is so responsive, knowledgeable about all aspects of construction, renovation, estimating and getting it done to perfection! He is also meticulous about the work area and keeping the rest of your living spaces free of dust, debris, tools etc. Whether you have a repair or a major renovation, Jason can do it all you will be so happy with the process, the end result and the new friend you have made! Note: each project varied in cost/investment. DTC is competitive and honest.

Booked this company last minute after another company backed out. When I contacted the office I believe it was Cathy I spoke with she was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. She walked me thru the process, we discussed how much stuff I had and because it was short notice someone could not be sent out to do an estimate. On moving day they crew led by Nick arrived 10 minutes early. They did a walk thru and within a short period the first truck was loaded. After seeing the amount of stuff I actually had they called in another mover to assist. The crew were excellent, they were cautious and identified any concerns as they arose. All the crew were polite, diligent and a pleasure to spend the day with. I just had a wooden coat rack made by East Edge Woodworks, and I have to say, Donnie knocked it out of the park. I wasnt quite sure what I wanted for the spacewhether a hall tree or a coat rackbut Donnie drew something up for me, and it was amazing. He used the stain I had from my baseboards and crown molding, and the result is nothing short of phenomenal! What really impressed me was Donnie's focus on what would be more aesthetically pleasing rather than just pushing for the more expensive option. Its clear he genuinely cares about the quality and look of his work. Ive worked with East Edge before, and theyve always impressed me. Donnies craftsmanship is top-notch, and his attention to detail really shines through. Michelle was also fantasticshe was super responsive to all my messages and a pleasure to work with. On top of that, the price was great for the quality of work. Theyre my go-to for any cabinetry or woodworking project, and I cant recommend them enough. I posted a job on here in October 2023 to have the 2 small walls in my sun room (11 feet each in length) renovated - remove the old screen walls and replace them with framed drywall walls and a door to the outside. The door was to be an inexpensive 32 door with a window. Despite Rez having measured everything he did not realize he could not install an outward swinging door because it would hit the roof of my gazebo on my deck. It was his helper that noticed this during framing and offered the suggestion of sliding patio doors. Rez asked for an additional $500 for this change. I paid him immediately - the same day. It took months for the patio doors to be delivered and he promised they would be installed while I was on holiday from Jan 23 to 30, 2024. I came home and they were not installed. 2 weeks later he came and installed them. They are not level and do not latch or lock. Ive contacted him repeatedly to return and fix them and complete the job. There is still more drywalling to do, windows and doors to be trimmed and interior walls to be painted. He says he doesnt do exterior work in the winter - but he took 90% of the cost of the job before Christmas 2023! There is also exterior siding to be done and this also remains incomplete.
