We had 310RENO completely transform our master ensuite, and the experience from start to finish was excellent. From the moment we reached out, their response was quick and professional, and their design team had a clear plan put together within a short time. Their design team was fantastic to work with and guided us through everything from tile selections to colours and the overall layout. Construction stayed on schedule and within the budget we were given, which was very important to us. The workmanship was top-notch, and it was clear the team takes pride in doing things properly and to a high standard. A steam shower was created that required a sloped shower ceiling, and they pulled it off beautifully. Communication was always easy, whether it was with the Project Manager or the crew on site, and any questions or concerns were addressed promptly. The final result is a beautiful, well-finished master ensuite that we absolutely love. We’re very satisfied with the entire experience and

It is truly a pleasure to write a review for Nathanael and his team! We are one of many families on our street that have trusted our homes to Nathanael. Our project involved stripping our 2-room attic space down to the studs to build a dormer extension with a bathroom, and redo a bedroom, optimizing every inch of space. In executing the work, Nathanael and his team took the time to reinforce studs, beams and joists, taking the time and effort to attend to the subfloor to prevent creaky floors. From structural work, to HVAC/insulation, to the last finishes, no short cuts were ever taken - we truly felt Nathanael and his team cared about the project as though it was their own house. We quickly came to trust Nathanael's judgment and suggestions. No challenge was seen as a problem. Nathanael was always ready with a pragmatic, professional solution at hand that enhanced the design of the project. We are very happy with the work. The job was completed in the agreed timeframe, to a very high standard. When unexpected conditions were found, which is not surprising in our old house, they clearly communicated the options for dealing with the situation. The final bill was actually lower than the estimate due to changes in the scope of work. The two workers, Ramin and Hossein, were pleasant, polite and professional to deal with and clearly explained everything. They documented the work at every stage with photos. They were careful about protecting the floors and cleaned up afterwards. We will definitely hire them again if we have another job.

House renovation- 30 Mar 2025
This was the first renovation that my wife and I had undertaken, and the Jiang's Design & Reno team did an excellent job! Over a period of 4 weeks, the team completed a scope of: resurfacing of approx. 800sqft of popcorn ceiling, replacement of all ceiling light fixtures, full gut and renovation of 2 bathrooms, and remodel of front entryway in our condo. We actually had to move into the unit around 1.5 weeks into the renovation (not ideal) but Evan and his team were very accommodating and worked with us to hand over certain portions of our unit while work continued. Items supplied/arranged by me: light fixtures, bathroom wall tiles, elevator bookings Everything else was handled by Evan and his team. Evan met with me for one day to go shopping for everything not mentioned above i.e. floor tile, vanities, plumbing fixtures, paint etc. Custom cabinets also sourced through Evan and team. Overall, we are very pleased with the results. Thanks again to Evan, Daniel and Ryan!!

We are very pleased we chose Cosmopolitan Construction to reface our house with stone and stucco. From the beginning and all through the process, Aiad was incredible to deal with. He is detail-oriented, very responsive, and took the time to answer the many questions we had. The crew was courteous, worked efficiently, and the project was completed in the expected time. Because of his many years of experience, Aiad provided recommendations about several aspects of the project that ended up looking great. It is clear that Aiad loves and takes pride in what he does and he ensured we were happy with the work done. We initially engaged Monaco looking for a designer for a major reno but decided to hire them for the whole job (design/architecture + construction) because Revi appeared knowledgeable, and it seemed like a good idea to hire one team to do it all. It started off well but was ultimately an incredibly frustrating experience. It has now been a year since completion, so weve had a chance to live in our new home and reflect. The construction began on schedule. Nine days after they began, demolition was completed, the support beam was in place, the new walls were framed out, the utilities were run, and all the initial permits were closed. At that point, we were very optimistic. The core construction team, led by Steven, was competent. As a result, a year later, there have been no structural issues. The problems started to mount when we got to the finishings. There were two major sources of problems mediocre sub-contractors, and Revis disinterest in our project and argue now, fix later attitude. It became clear that Revi had delegated our job to her assistant (without informing us prior to signing the contract) and did not feel a sense of ownership of our job. There were several large mistakes made throughout construction incorrect kitchen cabinetry, backsplash tiles, interior doors, hardware, mismatched stain on the stairs and landings, amongst others. While we were sold on a process that focused on quality assurance, we found ourselves doing the job for them, and the most frustrating part was that each time we found a mistake, there would always be an argument before it was fixed. The mismatched stairs incident is the best example of this. We pointed out from the day it was done that there was a problem with the colour to anyone who would listen. Instead of coming and seeing it with her own eyes, Revi argued with us for two weeks by email, citing the contract that said the stairs/landing may not be a perfect match to the flooring, questioning whom we informed (it was everyone), claiming that it couldnt be fixed Until she saw it with her own eyes and immediately recanted. So much stress could have been saved if she had just taken ownership of our job. It felt like she did not get to know us to the extent necessary to do a good job. For example, she had our house painted in a beautiful high end matte paint that looks great and wears terribly. This would have been a good choice for a larger home or one without children, but in our small and spirited house, it looks dirty and needs repainting a year later. Then there were the problems with sub-contractors. I had a month of stress because the electrician, to get out of 30 minutes of work, claimed that our ceiling fans could not be wired the way they had been safely wired for years prior, and Revi argued back and forth, telling us her contractor wouldnt do it because it could cause a fire .. until we got another licensed electrician to write a statement saying she was wrong. Similarly, before paying Revi an additional amount to have her painter fix water staining around our skylights, we paid her roofer to inspect to ensure there was no active leakage. He inspected three times during the reno (once for a separate issue) and found none of the glaring issues which caused leaking within months, damaging our newly finished ceilings. Since the construction ended last summer, we have reached out with several issues and most have been dealt with. However, we were not able to solve the problems caused by the aforementioned leaking due to repeated incompetence by their roofing contractor. In trying to get her to remedy this, she once again cited the contract without understanding the situation, and then finally offered to fix it, but in her offer included an insane ChatGPT generated agreement that sounds like a fake lawyer wrote it, that says she will fix it if we promise not to reflect upon our experience publicly. And because my silence is worth more than some ceiling repairs and paint, we are here today telling you we would not hire her again.

John has built a rainbow bookshelf for our living room. He was a responsive communicator, reasonably priced and quick to deliver. We are very happy with the space. The reason I'm deducting a star is due to some misunderstanding about the colors - we wanted certain panels to be white which ended up being delivered in natural wood color. Just make sure you have everything fully documented in writing/designs before the work starts to avoid similar surprises. I would hire John again
