We contacted Filadelfia after working with three other contractors we weren't satisfied with. (The first one, a kitchen reno, cut all the ground wires during his install - no idea why. We found out a year later and had to rewire the kitchen. The second turned a month-long job into a 6 month saga. The third built a deck that we had to have fixed only a year later.) Needless to say, I was cautious. You can tell Rodney and his team were going to be different from the second you meet them. People of a certain age will understand what I mean when I say they are about the 'old school' service: They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They quoted and stuck to the quote. They kept their word. They did good work. They were respectful of the neighbours. They finished earlier than they promised. The whole package. Whereas other contractors would send one or two people, disappear for a few days, and then get back to it, there were usually 3 to 6 people from the Filadelfia team onsite the entire time. They wanted to get the job done - and done well - and get on to the next one. That's how I work, and I appreciate it in others. We have at least 4 more jobs to do, and we'll call Rodney for all of them.

-the project took longer than necessary started the work with his son the first 2 weeks then he worked alone for the remaining time -agreement was 50% down and 50% balance upon completion of project -about 1 week after receiving first installation payment every other week he asked to be paid and othertimes he begged that he needed the money -He used the cheapest grade of artificial tarp and used old rusty nails- never secured correctly - he walked away with any excess material that remained from the project. -

I couldn’t be happier. My LG dryer had no heat. I had already changed the fuses with no luck. Within minutes of posting, Eduard from CN Appliance Repair messaged me. I sent my phone number to call anytime and he called within seconds (I was beyond impressed as it was almost 10pm…🤩). He was so nice and said he could come the next day (today) around 2pm. He called just before lunch and offered to come earlier which worked great and he diagnosed, disassembled and fixed the internal dryer thermostat in under an hour. He actually had the parts (which in my past experience is unheard of). I could not be more impressed and will 💯 be a repeat customer! AMAZING SERVICE! 🤩

Asif and his HVAC technicians were such a pleasure to deal with and we would use them again and highly recommend to friends and family. My parents had used Furnace & AC Experts in the fall to replace their Furnace so when our furnace stopped working on the weekend and was red tagged we called the two big hvac companies for advice and were quoted really high prices for a new unit. We urgently needed a new furnace with a little one at home. I called Asif after hours and he picked up the phone and took the time to patiently answer all of our questions. He wasn't pushy at all but let us know when we were ready he could install the next day. It was a late night and after a few phone calls and texts back and forth we finalized the purchase of the furnace at 930pm with installation scheduled at 10am. The hvac technicians (Hossein & Arman) were thorough, took the time to tidy up, and give us a walk through of the work completed and our new furnace, at the end. Hossein answered all of our questions and was very patient. Thank you Asif and team for all your speedy help! We are so happy to have heat again and will definitely call you back for any hvac needs (hopefully there are none for a while lol).

Jeff provided a comprehensive check of the system, observing all 17 stations in operation and adjusting/repairing where necessary. He was timely, didnt rush through the job and provided clear explanations where needed. His expertise is much appreciated. Waters and Brookes installed the system 26 years ago and have performed the openings, closings and mid-season checks since then, always providing excellent service. Please note that the fee noted includes opening, closing and mid-season check.
