  Just got back to red deer from Ontario, started a contracting outfit in Timmins, ran it 4 years. Roofing, fencing, flooring, painting, soffit, decks, wood and vinyl. In Alberta im a certified crane operator. Math is my strong suit. Staying in the contracting field so I can be home with the family. Flooring is my preferred work…

  They needed a lot of babysitting. It started great. They showed up right away and got started, they were eager to do a good job. But then they would tell me they were coming back at a certain time and they wouldn’t show. I would text them at the end of the day and they would tell me they were on their way. They worked from 12-2 in the morning to finish the job I had explicitly told them I needed done two days before (and they said they could do it). And then the job wasn’t great because they were rushed and didn’t have the right products. They also left their pee bottle, and a beer can behind and unhooked my smoke detector (I’m assuming because they were smoking inside). The job got done and I’m mostly happy with their work laying the flooring but I’m less satisfied with the stairs because they were rushing at the end. I’m not sure it would have got done at all if I wasn’t constantly checking in.
