The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:GHTContracting

I chose Roots N Rubble Contracting Company to fix (resurface) the concrete steps outside my house. However, the next day when the concrete had dried up, I noticed that there were many tiny cracks everywhere and besides, the reworked surface was very rough and even the color was not consistent. Hired Henry's Bobcat to excavate 3 LARGE (18" x 5') concrete fence footings from our yard, and drill four 18" holes for new posts. They were prompt, helpful, project cost was as we had agreed before hand (no hidden fees). The employee who came to our home worked hard all day on our yard, completed the work on time (which was important to us because another contractor was coming that evening to carry out the next step), and was easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend the company. I was a little surprised that there was no written contract drawn up before hand for the work - our verbal agreement was the all we had, but Henry's Bobcat did an excellent job honouring their word.Latest review:Wallpaper & Paint
