Rick arrived to give me an estimate on my small jobs. He told me what he thought the causes for each were & what he would do. He figured out that the Breaker for the 3rd floor and 1st floor kitchen outlets were connected & I got power again. No charge! I booked him. He said the leak in the Kitchen ceiling was not a broken pipe but caused by the toilet nearby on the 2nd fl. He added a double wax seal & rubber to stop the leaking. Then ripped out only damaged parts of ceiling and wall and repaired it. He reassured me there was no mold. And finally he created a good looking metal Fascia over the wooden one below the roof where Wood Bee's decided to make their home & honey factory. He did make sure they were gone first. I would recommend Rick and his team to anyone. They were very kind & did not try to force me to do work I didn't want done yet. Rick & his team are very intuitive & experienced & are quick to remedy a problem. I contacted Carlos and he came the next day for an estimate. He was prompt and friendly, answering all our questions. He had the estimate ready in - day and texted me dates that would work for him, within the next week. He showed up early, was polite, put a drop cloth down not only in the kitchen but down the stairs to the outside of the building to cut his tiles. He worked independently and was polite to all the other residents in the condo. Finished and completely cleaned his work area. Backyard butchered by Astrero General Services I hired Michael Astrero based on his great reviews. I asked for 3 simple fixes: lower my backyard steps to code, level a sloped area and reduce a fence gap. Instead, he did whatever he wanted and left my yard a disaster. He stained and splashed cement all over my best stone slabs that were not to be touched, broke several stones while forcing them into place, installed broken pieces, and painted the stairs bleck to cover tons of glue and cement he used, when I asked for natural stone. Cemente and stain was spashed on my new fence and decorative stones were ruined. I paid $ 5,821.98 including the extra materials he damaged, and he refused to give me the receips. I felt pressured and intimidated throughout. My backyard now needs a full redo. This was not professional work. I'm persuing legal action and want others to be warned. He completely miss represented his abilities and should not be doing masony work.

I'm a hard marker so this 10/10 is a statistical outlier and genuine. Jamie's crew @ RockBottom was such a pleasure to work with and I agree with my neighbour below, whose project was the same plus I added a basement walkout. It's as though the crew was in a 'best day ever' bubble each day - cheerful, friendly, tidy, careful, competent and considerate, empty bins moving in and full bins moving out like an RCMP musical ride, all to the bouncy playlist emanating from the basement. They solved problems, recommended solutions explaining why and I was never patted on the head with a 'just trust me, l'il lady'. Too bad RockTop doesn't have the same ring as RockBottom because this experience, which started with thorough trepidation, really was tops.

Excellent experience. We had our terribly stained and etched marble island and counters refinished by Roman. They have us a quick quote, came only a few days later, showed up exactly on time, and did the work efficiently and quickly. They were friendly, professional, we felt comfortable with them in our home. Most importantly, the work quality was perfect. They cleaned every surface afterwards, not a spec of dirt or dust left. We are pleased to say that working with Genius renos was the best choice. We needed to make a full upgrade on our condominium apartment and the results are amazing. We had an initial discussions with the owner Geni as to our requirements for the kitchen and our two bathrooms and he had helpful suggestions to help us make design decisions as well. They converted our living space into a beautiful open entertainment area with a lovely kitchen, updated walls and laundry area. The team was absolutely amazing and Geni was a pleasure to work with. Their work was high quality and they were extremely respectful of our space and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the work day. The project involved a brand new kitchen, including custom made cabinets, countertop, sink, high end tap, lovely backsplash and beautiful replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted. Also, for the washrooms, replaced old vanities and showed with new custom made to fit our space in both washrooms. Our old tub in the master bathroom and tiled shower was replaced with a new sleek tub/shower with cultured marble tile walls and ceiling. The guest washroom was also completely re-modelled with a beautiful rain fall shower (which I am so in love). They also replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted the bathrooms. The final result were beautiful kitchen and bathrooms that we are very happy with. The job was completed in the estimated six weeks, even with unexpected extra work - when some rotting wood (from old leaks) and incorrect wiring was discovered. Geni and his crew are excellent at communicating and consulting with us on every detail and choice. We have no hesitation in recommending genius renovations.
