I posted a job on here in October 2023 to have the 2 small walls in my sun room (11 feet each in length) renovated - remove the old screen walls and replace them with framed drywall walls and a door to the outside. The door was to be an inexpensive 32 door with a window. Despite Rez having measured everything he did not realize he could not install an outward swinging door because it would hit the roof of my gazebo on my deck. It was his helper that noticed this during framing and offered the suggestion of sliding patio doors. Rez asked for an additional $500 for this change. I paid him immediately - the same day. It took months for the patio doors to be delivered and he promised they would be installed while I was on holiday from Jan 23 to 30, 2024. I came home and they were not installed. 2 weeks later he came and installed them. They are not level and do not latch or lock. Ive contacted him repeatedly to return and fix them and complete the job. There is still more drywalling to do, windows and doors to be trimmed and interior walls to be painted. He says he doesnt do exterior work in the winter - but he took 90% of the cost of the job before Christmas 2023! There is also exterior siding to be done and this also remains incomplete. This has been an awful experience and extremely stressful. This project started in November 2023 and is still not done.

I needed the fascia and wood trim replaced on an outside porch, as it was rotten. Calwyn gave me a quote and he answered my questions as to what types of material he would use, how long the job would take, etc. I felt confident that he knew how to do the job properly. Once again Rymak (Colin) has come through on another project, creating a beautiful new patio, fence, gate and retaining wall. Despite challenges and setbacks causing delays, Colin did not cut corners and went over & above the call of duty. Corrections were required and add-ons that were not part of the original project, were completed with professional. From my perspective, Colin continues to demonstrate his own standards of professional ethics, pride in his workmanship and integrity above all else, unlike some contractors I've been unfortunate to deal with. I am super happy with the results and won't hesitate to request his services again; I highly recommend Colin for any project - you won't be disappointed.

I would highly recommend nkz construction They did a fantastic job on my very first home I ever bought. They replaced all of the bad facia boards that where in terrible shape, replaced all facia, soffit, added vents to the necessary areas that where lacking air flow for proper ventilation along with all eves an down pipe with gutter guard They replaced all siding an added bigger exterior window in my kitchen along with new French doors leading out to our beautiful back deck they built highly recommend these guys for all your home repairs an renovation needs

We hired Rouslan to secure several bookcases in our office, and he did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was very mindful of the people working around him — minimizing disruption while getting the job done quickly. He came fully prepared, cleaned up after himself, and completed the work exactly as promised. His pricing was fair, and his professionalism was much appreciated. Canadian Performing did a fantastic job fixing up our wheelchair ramp!! The secondary handrails (wheelchair height) were originally a bit of an issue but Steve was able to problem solve and get it done. It turned out beautifully! I would recommend Canadian Performing to anyone!

They did a decent job of stamped and aggregate concrete for my lawn and backyard. But disappointed with their after work customer service and response. Few cracks showed up, but did nothing about it. Few spots with broken coating, but did nothing about it. When they layer gravel on the sides of the concrete, did not do a proper layering of the black material before putting the gravel, within a year grass started to grow. Wanted to get a proper drain because backyard neighbour raised issue, but did nothing about it. Basically they dont respond to you once they are completed, paid off and gone. Disappointing that even if its a big work and you had treated them cordially, upon fall up later they ignore you blatantly.

The written contract will specific the scope of work and material to be used. I.E provide 2" of compacted asphalt, 2" new gravel; removed 2" of spoiled surface soil and 2-3 " of old asphalt. Original agreed price $6300. Unfortunately, I had additional layers of asphalt and concrete needed to be removed. I also needed extra gravels. This added another $2700 to the final bill. As a first timer, I neglected to ask the "what if" question regarding the extra labour and cost needed to remove the additional layers of old asphalt before commencing the work. Paving contractors should have no problem providing an estimated cost for removal and cost for additional materials. It is prudent to know your cost so you can control your budget. There is no way to know if you actually receiving the quoted 2" compacted asphalt unless you use a device to measure the thickness. I guess you can ask to see the waybill and ask that all the delivered asphalt to be used on the project (driveway) as part of the contract. This work was completed in Dec. 2023 and reviewed submitted in June 2024
