We recently hired Marcos and his team at Barradas Carpentry to rebuild my parents’ patio, which had become unsafe due to a snapped wooden post. From the first visit, Marcos was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He walked us through the issues and offered smart, affordable solutions without any pressure. As someone unfamiliar with construction, I appreciated how he explained everything clearly, helping us manage both cost and risk. The quote was fair, and he also assisted with sourcing materials and disposing of the old wood, which made things much easier. The crew was efficient, respectful, and left the yard spotless. The final result exceeded our expectations—a sturdy, beautiful patio that looks great and feels safe. Marcos followed up afterward to ensure we were happy and didn’t need anything else, which was a great touch. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Great team, great service, and a job well done. Daniel does not conduct the estimates or do the work... He does not appear to be a handyman - he does not show up at all. He is more of a General that subs out the work. That is OK but he tries to charge for extras that he does not incur but tradespeople he hires might. The tradespeople were good but there is a lack of transparency with an element of greed that is unpleasant.

Carlos designed, led, and implemented a full remodel of two main areas of our home, including a full remodel of our entire basement. He started with a gut renovation of our front hallway to make it more accessible and safe, and then did a full renovation - including flooring, insulation, new walls - everything! - of our basement over the course of four months. He showed up every day on time, and worked like a charm with the plumber, HVAC, electrician, tiler, painters, etc, too. He always left the workspace clean and tidy. He is a consummate professional. He helped us carefully rethink each space and make more strategic use of each room - gaining us valuable square footage, doubling our bathroom and giving us two new closets. He has deep expertise in working with a variety of materials and gave us excellent advice when we needed it. We trust him wholeheartedly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or work with him again.

We started with a deck repair problem of rotten stringers. Park City Construction quoted a comparable good price. Peter, the owner and also a gentleman, explained what need to be done on the repair. We also found out that Park City also do landscaping and we hired him to pave walkways in the front and back yards. In addition, we also got Park City to do weeding in the garden for us. They also did a minor repair on our paved driveway too. All the work were done in a few days when we were away. We like the walkways in the yards very much. The repair of the deck was good. The weeding job is fine considering the existing conditions of flowers and weeds mix. We have no problem to refer Peter and City Park to our friends to resolve their problems.

I had Joseph fix my front entrance steps, which was leaking and causing water to enter the cold room. He replaced the stairs and did an excellent job with the waterproofing. Joseph was very attentive and provided high-quality work at a fair price. He started and completed the work exactly as agreed, and even after the project was finished, he followed up to address small defects. Joseph worked closely with me to meet my needs and was very personable throughout the process. I highly recommend him and will definitely work with him again.

We had tile installation work completed in January 2026, in our foyer, powder room and laundry room by Nestor and his associate, and we we couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the project was handled professionally and efficiently. The scope of the work included demolition of existing tiles, new subfloors and tile installation, baseboards, pot-lights, painting, wall repair, removing and reinstallation of fixtures and appliances, all of which were completed exactly as outlined. The team was punctual, respectful of our home, and took care to protect surrounding areas during the work. The project was completed on time and on budget, with great attention to detail throughout. We have no complaints whatsoever with the finished product - the tile work looks excellent and the spaces feel completely refreshed. Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.
