DO NOT HIRE AMIR - THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF OTHER OPTIONS Amir M. installed a new gas water heater in my residence last year. Enbridge did an inspection on the house due to an unrelated service call. They flagged Amir’s work and tagged the gas line with a WARNING TICKET and gave us 45 days to fix the problem. Amir connected the gas line to the furnace line. That is not to code. I immediately contacted Amir. He kept saying he will come…gave me the run around for weeks and did not show up. If my gas is not fixed in the next week Enbridge is going to shut off the gas!!!! I am in the process of hiring another licensed tech to do the work. I feel upset that Amir did not do a proper install and cut corners. But I am more upset that he has given me the run around and not stood behind his work. Julian responded quickly with a preliminary estimate and I was able to compare to other estimates. We Choose GHT Design and Build because they were a fair price and had great reviews. Julian quickly responded with a final quote once we worked through the details of our project. The GHT team were all great to work with from demolition to finished product. Including tiling, electrical, foam insulation, and wood flooring. The finished result is exactly as we had hoped for. Project was done efficiently and on budget. No surprises along the way. Julian was flexible with some add-ons we wanted with very reasonable costs for those services (i.e. doing spray form insulation in the basement while the truck was here). We received great service at a reasonable cost and with an exceptional end product. We highly recommend GHT and will definitely use them for our next project! Michael and Daniela

Alberto has been my go to contractor for many jobs around my home. For this big project he coordinated and organized all the work that had to be done in my home. This included the replacement of my old flooring with new engineered hardwood as well as tiling, plus adding a doorway in my bedroom, plus widening the hallway Walls, and also organizing electrical work that had to be done. He did everything for a reasonable cost. He also did some wxtra things that werent part of the job for no cost. All of his work was perfect. Great customer service. First time I ever had a contractor come to the house and do any work that had no issues afterward. He has done other smaller projects for me and never disappoints. We are very impressed with the work of Rodney and his team at Magenta. During the initial planning stages, he was very reliable - he would get back to us quickly and with useful information. We could tell he was planning the project diligently, even before the first shovelful of soil was moved. When the project began, all of the material and plants arrived on site on time for the crew. There was a small hiccup in the laying out of the patio, but fortunately it was caught early in the process and fixed with minimal fuss. Finally, Rodney stayed extra late to ensure that the work was completed, and the jobsite cleaned.
