Valentyn was excellent! He responded quickly, came the same day, and hung both my mirror and shelf with great care. He was efficient, made sure everything was level and exactly where I wanted it, and even cleaned up afterward. As a single woman living alone, I also really appreciated how safe and comfortable I felt having him in my home. Highly recommend!

We found Marjan and On-Time via homestars. He answered my request for quote immediately, was on the phone with me and came out to survey the job within a couple days of my initial request. Marjan was very detailed in how he'd approach the deck in terms of the materials he'd be using and how it would be built. (He had me at "joist protection" :) ) We agreed to move ahead, and all I had to do was pick our deck colour and rails and Marjan handled everything else. My understanding is he usually has other people helping but I guess they were unavailable so Marjan built it *by HIMSELF* in 3.5 days. And we're talking 2x12s with carriage bolts, cedar posts, 16x8 foot deck 12 or so feet in the air. Not only was he quick, I, without exaggeration, have the best deck on the street. I've watched crews of 3-4 guys build my neighour's decks slower, without the same level of quality Marjan brought. Pure skill and experience. A total Pro. Thank you again Marjan and enjoy your holidays!

Easily the most disappointing service we've ever worked with in Toronto. We wanted to buy a single small tree and get it planted in our backyard. It took a dozen phone calls, a year and a half (!), and $1300 to get our tree planted, and then we never heard from them again, despite repeatedly asking them about care instructions. The following spring, the tree was clearly not thriving, and after another $150 and 5 phone calls (two of them after we had already given them them money but they simply didn't bother sending anyone), someone came, said we should have cared for it differently (which might be true! but they never told us how to care for it, despite us trying to find out!), and said it would have to be replaced. Never again.

We had such a great experience working with Aventus. From start to finish, their communication was excellent—they kept us updated every step of the way and made sure we always knew what was happening. Saad and crew were meticulous in their work, paying attention to every detail, and it’s clear they truly cared about the outcome. They didn’t just want to finish the job, they wanted it to be done right. They also gave us thoughtful advice along the way, helping us make smart decisions about the yard that we wouldn’t have thought of on our own. Beyond the quality of their work, what stood out the most was how genuine and kind they were. Honest, easy to talk to, and clearly proud of what they do. As a bonus, on my son’s birthday they even took the time to let him pose with the excavator, which absolutely made his day, that’s the type of people they are. Our yard looks fantastic, but the whole process was just as impressive as the final result. I’d recommend them without hesitation

We had nine Türkmenistan rugs in our home, one with moth ingestion just starting, and it had had lots of damage due to our last dog and our new dog peeing and pooing on it. It was past the point of redemption. Ben showed us rugs from his private collection, and we purchased a new one to replace that one, plus one for our library room, and one for the spare bedroom. We also had our basement carpet cleaned. Ben and his son Said are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Better attention to detail than the big names.

Sever Homes took on our dream project and transformed the central living space in our home to one that we can’t imagine living without! The project came in on budget within the initial timelines agreed. The owner is an outstanding lead contractor and maintained a regular communication flow so we were kept updated on status constantly. The quality of finish is superb. He has a keen eye for function and design and he provided solid guidance at every key stage. He saved us precious time by directing us to selective third party vendors and even accompanied us on shopping trips and planning meetings to ensure all involved collaborated in an effective manner, thereby keeping the pace of progress on track. When we met with any unexpected complexities/challenges he provided solid rationale for workable solutions, always upholding the integrity of the design. He is well respected within the industry, as evidenced by the strong relationships he has with a stand-up group of sub-trades. They all worked efficiently, seamlessly handing off from one to the other, back and forth - always maintaining the same high standard of work that we came to expect from Sever Homes and team. The level of after-service we received served to enhance what was overall an outstandingly positive experience from Sever Homes. After hearing a lot of horror stories about contractors who take advantage of their clients, we were skeptical about hiring any contractor to get our kitchen renovated. My brother-in-law suggested we give Josh from Level Custom Build a call, as he knew them well. It turned out to be the best decision we made. We werent sure about what we wanted; we only knew we wanted a modern functional kitchen. On our first visit with Josh, he took the time to explain all the details to us. He set our expectations for what they were able to do and what was possible. He addressed all our questions and concerns. Here is a team that is extremely skilled, very punctual, clean, pays attention to details, very patient to our numerous changes, provides excellent quality of work, respects our home and took measures to make sure not to damage anything. They take pride in what they do and not just treat you like a number. I was extremely impressed with the app they provided us. This app provides information on dates, what is scheduled when, costs, due dates and pictures everyday of what was completed. Now that to me is truly impressive as it shows how organized and committed, they are towards their clients. We love what they have done with our Kitchen and dining room. Thank you, Al, Josh, Kevin, Jamal and the rest of the team. You guys gave us our Dream Kitchen.
