The crew showed up ahead of the original start time (they called ahead to let me know, the got started immediately and made short work of the old fence. The new one was installed by the end of the day. They kept me informed as to what was happening along the way. The work site was cleaned up after the completion of the project. I’ll summarize this as immature and unreliable. Knowing our hot-tub delivery deadline, we agreed to start the concrete pad project the same week on Friday. I canceled other contractors and signed a contract. Later, Tony asked to push the project to Sunday (which was awkward since it was Easter). He then realized everything was closed and asked to extend it to the following Wednesday or Thursday. I rescheduled the hot-tub delivery with the pool company because the concrete needed to cure, and there was no way to pour it on time. On Wednesday, I received a call that he can perform the job next month, not tomorrow. So, I am left without a pad and couldn’t find a contractor at this price because of the delivery I can't re-schedule again. He wasted a week of my time and money as I need to pay extra to perform this job on time. To be fair, he was communicative and returned my deposit...yet I hope he will learn the lesson that schedules have real consequences. Form and Function Concrete did an amazing job. The work looks beautiful, and also rain water drains properly! There was an animal that brought berries and stained the concrete as they were on their way to seal the concrete. They didnt panic, cleaned it up and returned to seal it so the work would be completed properly. You couldnt even tell that it happened when they were finished. Jamie finished our basement a few years back and did a fantastic job. His skill and dedication are excellent. He is very relaxed and easy to get along with and have in your house. My wife particularly enjoyed that he always cleaned up after a day of work. Towards the end of the project I asked about building a hidden bookshelf door in the basement. He took on the challenge, figured out how to build one, and we love it. Over the years he's done a few other jobs for us such as building a great cedar shed in our backyard, raccoon proofed our deck, a kitchen reno, and a lovely walkway in front our our house.
