Great North concrete worked with us to bring our dream patio to fruition. They asked what colour and design we wanted, and was sure to come out to do a measure up. They gave us clear explanations on what the strengths and weaknesses were for the design and location of the patio. They brought in machinery to properly prepare the land. They laid gravel and packed everything judiciously. The forming was done with care to make sure everything would be secure for the pour. When the concrete truck showed up they worked hard and moved fast to get the mix where it needed to go. I was doing a fence at the same time as the patio, so we used the post holes to get rid of the extra mix. The boys had everything prepped properly at this point to be able to level off, apply colour, and stamp the concrete efficiently. After some time, they came back to spray the colour powder off for the reveal, and WOW I couldnt believe how sexy that concrete looked! Nick dropped by at another date to get some relief cuts in. The cuts were nice and straight. We had some bad weather after that, so we had to wait a few weeks, but Nick dropped by again to spray the sealer. The sealer gave it a nice glazed/glossy look. They also poured a pad as a foundation for a shed. This was done with a smooth edge and a broom finish. My son enjoyed watering the pad for the next week to help it cure and watch it turn white. Would highly recommend Great North Concrete, they did an excellent job. Its been roughly 1 year since they completed the job and everything is holding up very well so far.

We had an old front porch(built 1958) that was crumbling and starting to become a real danger. TGM replaced the porch with a new lafitt tandem wall. Project was completed on time, and communicated well with us throughout. When it came to design we left Dylan to do what he thought would work, he noticed our soffits had just been redone and suggested doing a dark border cap that would go nicely with it. When a defect happened with one of the caps, rather than possibly hide it or hope we wouldn't notice, Dylan pointed it out right away and fixed it. Justin & Dylan powered through some of the hottest days of the year cheerfully and efficiently. We've gone from the ugly duckling in the neighbourhood to a front of house of our dreams, we didn't know we could cause such rubber necking! Moved to a new residence, older 1970's build. The garage was once a carport that got paved along with the driveway. Over the years the carport got closed in and a garage door added. Well after 54 years the asphalt was at the end of its life. So the project was to remove all the asphalt from inside the garage and the driveway and replace with concrete. I had difficult time finding contractor's that would do the whole project. Then my neighbour said try K W concrete. So I contacted them and got quick response. The quote was the best i got. The job was quickly scheduled and completed in approx 3 days. This company was great to work with and the workmanship was top notch. Would definitely recommend this company.

Last year my husband and I were having installation issues with a new heat pump that wed purchased from another company. I posted a plea for help on the NextDoor app. Andrew was quick to reply with valuable information that helped us get resolution. So when the time came for our heat pumps annual maintenance inspection, we reached back to him. I mentioned we also needed to have an old natural gas line removed from our kitchen, and were happy to hear that Andrew was fully licenced to take care of both issues. He arrived on time, spent time adjusting our thermostat to a more economical setting, inspected the heat pump noting deficiencies from the original install, quickly removed the gas pipe, checked all remaining gas fittings and provided a clear explanation of the work hed completed and gave us a detailed invoice for the exact amount he had quoted. He was knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and professional. When he left there was no mess left behind and we had a better understanding of our equipment.
