Usually eavestroughs come in aluminum 5 inches for most residential jobs. 6 inches could be for commercial and could be metal, copper, galvanized, etc. Downspouts usually come in 2.5 x 2.5 or to be more exact the measurements are 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 with an option to upgrade to 3x3 inches.
