Black Rock Developments is a full service Design and Build firm. We specialize in commercial and residential construction projects, including new construction, renovations, and additions. Our team has extensive experience and knowledge in the industry, allowing us to provide our clients with top-notch services. We follow a rigorous process for every project we undertake, from initial consultation to final inspection. Our team works closely with our clients to ensure that their vision is realized and that the project is completed on time and within budget.

As the owner of the company, Shawn De Taeye was trained by his father in basement waterproofing and general construction and went on to become a certified carpenter. His father, Rudy, operated his business for decades with the philosophy of providing excellent customer service and operating with a high ethical standard. Unfortunately, his father passed away in 2014, but the lessons Shawn was taught by his father still guide how he operates his business to this day. The company began as a waterproofing company; however, there was also a demand for general construction as well. Given Shawn’s experience in carpentry, the business expanded into a construction division as well.
