Fireplace unit is great but installation was anything but great. Owner and his assistant showed up late, were not very careful and scratched up my mantle to the point where I have to repaint it (see pictures), they installed the screen crooked (see picture) and when I called them up to ask to come back and fix it, they said I did it and refused to return to fix it. DO NOT HIRE AMIR - THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF OTHER OPTIONS Amir M. installed a new gas water heater in my residence last year. Enbridge did an inspection on the house due to an unrelated service call. They flagged Amir’s work and tagged the gas line with a WARNING TICKET and gave us 45 days to fix the problem. Amir connected the gas line to the furnace line. That is not to code. I immediately contacted Amir. He kept saying he will come…gave me the run around for weeks and did not show up. If my gas is not fixed in the next week Enbridge is going to shut off the gas!!!! I am in the process of hiring another licensed tech to do the work. I feel upset that Amir did not do a proper install and cut corners. But I am more upset that he has given me the run around and not stood behind his work. I want to say a resounding thank you to the ZES group. We live in a condo in Toronto with concrete ceilings, and wanted to hang a new decorative light fixture in a relocated spot. Ali was quick & responsive, and was able to recommend a few different aesthetically pleasing solutions for relocating the light without having to do extensive work to move the junction box in the concrete ceiling. Ali treated our home as though it was his, and left it cleaner than he found it. I needed to install an EVSE to charge my electric vehicle. I purchased the EVSE unit and contacted Smart Electrical Services to do the install. They gave a good estimate and two techs came to do the actual wiring. The breaker panel was in the back corner of the house and the car was parked at the front. They installed the large (6 gauge) cable neatly and with minimal disruption and no unnecessary holes in the walls. Very professional and easy to work with.
