DO NOT HIRE AMIR - THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF OTHER OPTIONS Amir M. installed a new gas water heater in my residence last year. Enbridge did an inspection on the house due to an unrelated service call. They flagged Amir’s work and tagged the gas line with a WARNING TICKET and gave us 45 days to fix the problem. Amir connected the gas line to the furnace line. That is not to code. I immediately contacted Amir. He kept saying he will come…gave me the run around for weeks and did not show up. If my gas is not fixed in the next week Enbridge is going to shut off the gas!!!! I am in the process of hiring another licensed tech to do the work. I feel upset that Amir did not do a proper install and cut corners. But I am more upset that he has given me the run around and not stood behind his work. We all make mistakes but we must be held accountable if we are not prepared to fix them.

I would recommend Kanata Renovations. Although the project dragged out longer than anticipated their work was acceptable but I think given the fact I provided most of the finish materials (other than Mortar,grout, electrical wiring) the pricing could have been better. Happy with the results!

Did a great shop caulking our kitchen. We had to call Josh to come back as there were some spots that needed touching up,(no fault on his part, just an old uneven kitchen), and he returned the next day and it looks great. We would hire him again.

Repair or maintain heating system- 12 Aug 2024
I had 3 other companies before, but they couldn't pinpoint where freon leaks were. (My AC wasn't installed properly 5 years ago when the owner of the business who was supposed to install it suddenly passed away. So his assistant installed it instead as it was already paid for.) Parent Heating & Cooling wasn't my 1st choice as the hourly rate was the highest. I found out that they have quality technicians with experiences. Holly, a office staff, was a very good communicator and went out of her way to make things happen. She got Marc, the technician, to come. He has 35 years of experience & expertise in heating & cooling. He's very logical, thorough, methodical when it comes to solving problems. He found the leaks were in the coil and I had to have it replaced. Holly, again, went out of her way to expedite the parts order and arranged Marc to install it much quicker than I expected, to my delight. Special thanks to a great help from Holly in the office and an expert work from Marc! I'm so happy that I have my AC working to keep me comfortable. I know that I'll be contacting this company for my future heating & cooling issues/replacements.

We are working through a process of addressing some deficiencies in our home, while also upgrading our home systems to natural gas. This project requires collaboration, experience, planning and good insight. Charlie is easy to communicate with, immediately addressing several issues that are outstanding in our home. He is thorough and informative, submitting a quick, fair quote and subsequent installation of phase one of our big undertaking. Our home now has great air quality from an HRV system upgrade to mitigate humidity, and we are looking forward to working with Charlie again to have the gas line converted from propane and exhaust installed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry.
