When we found ourselves suddenly in need to put our house on the market asap, I turned to Homestars to get a quote to have the whole interior of the house painted in a short amount of time. Peter answered the request quickly and we had an appointment for a quote right way. From the first moment he arrive I got a good feeling he understood exactly what we needed done, the repairs required. He took the time to explain the different paints and colours and how they would look in different lighting. He also advised which colours would work best for potential buyers. He was also able to accommodate our timeline to have the job finished. As my husband is a night shift worker and his team were very conscientious and considerate as to plan the noisier parts of the project to be done before my husband had to retire to bed. They worked quietly and quickly while he was asleep and left the house tidy every evening before they left. The job was finished on time and with minimal disruption to our lives. He always responded promptly to my texts and were back quickly to touch up a few small oopss that were noticed after the paint had dried for a couple of days. Came over to look at our floors, gave a handful of options with different quotes/efforts, was never pushy. Didn't end up doing anything for floor repairs but had him help with a toilet install. Competitive pricing compared to many plumbing companies, communicative and easy to work with despite our toilet replacement having added complications as well once the toilet was removed.

I highly recommend this plumber. Very professional communications and a prompt response. Honest, reliable and straight forward; the necessary qualities for any contractor. The service technician was friendly and walked me through the whole process and cleaned up after project. The only issue was the price, a bit higher than expected but once the job started i realized that it was more than a fair price for the amount of work involved. He was excellent and would definitely call again if needed.

Good communication with Eugene when I put in a request and the technician arrived within the time window provided. Within 10mins the tech diagnosed the issue to be a blown junction box. Left to go buy the part, came back 30mins later and was advised that it was $36 for the part and $295 for labour! Took him another 10-15 mins to change the box and put the dishwasher back in. Close to $400 (including tax, $36 part and about 30mins of actual labour). No issues with the technician, nice guy, they did their job but definite lesson learned to ask about labour costs up front. Would shop this around better next time for another appliance repair.

Tim and the Sunny Garden crew did a terrific job. We hired them to remove our old bricks in the backyard and replace them with new pavers. They also replaced the bricks on our backyard porch and replaced them with natural stone. They also leveled the area so it's not sloping onto our neighbor's property. In the front of the house they replaced the old brick steps with natural stone steps. They also installed armour stones and new sod across the front yard. They started on time and completed the job as per the schedule. Sunny Garden did a great job -- highly recommended.
