Very pleasant, easy to talk to. Knew exactly the most likely cause of the problem. Took down the washer model number and head out to buy a new hose. Replaced the hose and added a little friction guard to help prolong the life of it. From first arrival to complete finish of the job, about an hour. Material and labor, total of $230. Gabe, was on time and on budget. He set out clear expectations of the project and delivered on each of them in a timely manor. He does most of the work himself, so he never lost days waiting for others to be able to make it. He stressed the details right down to the last minute of the project. Julian contacted e in the morning regarding my inquiry on Homestars. Surprisingly, he said he could come out the same day. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would, diagnosed that my almost forty year old central vacuum had died of old age, and replaced it with a new one in less than an hour. Boris did a great job from start to finish. Arrived on site promptly and punctual to provide the estimate. Pricing was competitive and discount was given to fit within our budget. Boris and his crew arrived on site everyday (even on a Saturday) to complete the job on time. The crew was professional and cleaned up daily. After hearing a lot of horror stories about contractors who take advantage of their clients, we were skeptical about hiring any contractor to get our kitchen renovated. My brother-in-law suggested we give Josh from Level Custom Build a call, as he knew them well. It turned out to be the best decision we made. We werent sure about what we wanted; we only knew we wanted a modern functional kitchen. On our first visit with Josh, he took the time to explain all the details to us. He set our expectations for what they were able to do and what was possible. He addressed all our questions and concerns. Here is a team that is extremely skilled, very punctual, clean, pays attention to details, very patient to our numerous changes, provides excellent quality of work, respects our home and took measures to make sure not to damage anything. They take pride in what they do and not just treat you like a number. I was extremely impressed with the app they provided us. This app provides information on dates, what is scheduled when, costs, due dates and pictures everyday of what was completed. Now that to me is truly impressive as it shows how organized and committed, they are towards their clients. We love what they have done with our Kitchen and dining room. I needed to install a floating tv cabinet/shelf and a mounted tv on top of the cabinet on my wall. I had many options to choose from for the TV mount beforehand and the installers were very charismatic over the phone. They seemed to have a very good supply of equipment and I was able to pick teh4type of TV mount I wanted before they came. They even had an extra TV wiring kit on hand that was better than what I purchased beforehand. It was exceptional service and I will definitely go with Raza's Renos the next time around. I didn't have to buy a mounting bracket or a stud finder. I also could have saved more time by not trying to find a TV wiring kit.

Worst underpinning job, 6 week job took 4 months. poured the basement slab than left footprints in it and now needs to be redone. it's cracking and a corner is bouncy and tons of boot prints too. I was unlucky as I didn't hold back enough till job is complete.

I recently contacted Superior Plumbing with a request to find and repair a plumbing leak in my bathroom. Following investigation of the source of the leak by their employee Andrew, I was informed by him that the source of the leak was the wax seal under the toilet. He also identified that the toilet was aged and not in good repair and he suggested replacement. He provided a quote of $1,200 + tax for the work necessary to repair a water leak in my bathroom and replace the toilet. This work was done two days later by two installers. The work took approximately 45 minutes. After the work was completed, the installers advised me the toilet flange was also broken and provided me with an estimate of $800 to replace the flange. I did not accept this estimate as I was suspicious of the amount I was a being quoted for this repair. The work that was done that day did not stop the leak. When I contacted Superior Plumbing the next day to advise that the leak had not been fixed, I was told that the plumbers who installed the toilet were not aware that a new wax seal was to be installed and that they would return to install a new wax seal. I was also advised that a new toilet flange would be installed at no cost as a "courtesy" because of the installers error. I fail to see how this is a courtesy when, as I have learned, it is standard in the industry to change the wax ring and replace the flange on the toilet anytime a toilet is removed or replaced. The installers returned two days later and installed a new wax ring and toilet flange. Upon completion of this work the leak was still present. Another investigation by the installers that day found that the leak was coming from a pipe below the toilet, not the toilet itself. He seemed surprised that Andrew had identified the source of the leak as the toilet in the first place. I was then provided with a quote of an additional $650.00 to have the leaking pipe fixed. Given the inaccurate diagnosis, failed repairs and escalating costs I declined the estimate. When the installers left that day they dumped the bucket of drywall they had removed from my ceiling (to find the leaking pipe) onto my front lawn. I had paid $1356.00 to that point and the leak was not fixed. I paid $1356.00 to have a $350.00 toilet installed. Realizing that I had been grossly overcharged I requested a proper invoice including a detailed breakdown of both the parts and associated labour costs for the work done. When this was not forthcoming I contacted the number for the head office and was advised that "Superior Plumbing does not issue that kind of receipt" and that I would not be receiving any further documentation. I went to speak with someone in person at the local office only to find that the address provided on the company website is actually the address of another local business. Superior Plumbing is not located at the address advertised on their website. I looked up Superior Plumbing on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and it turns out they are not accredited with the BBB. They have a rating of F. The lowest possible rating. I wish I had looked the company up before I hired them to fix my leak. They took advantage of my lack of knowledge about plumbing and my feeling of urgency to get the leak fixed.
