Hi There! At the young age of 62 I decided to return to being a local handyman now that I'm all grown up finally! Bring a handyman is a business model I operated 25 years ago before switching to general contracting and house building. It feels great to be back doing what I love! In addition to getting the opportunity to meet and help many of the terrific people who live in the area, I wake up excited at what the day brings. When you do something different every day, you need to be ready for whatever comes. Yesterday I may have finished building a big, custom privacy fence. Today I may replace all of the faucets in a bathroom or replace the grout in the tile shower that had aged and leaked and now looks like new. Tomorrow might find me replacing dry rot in a building or painting the exterior of the house. Whatever it will be, it is very unlikely that I don't have the skillset or the tools to do the job. I am serving the town's and cities of Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River and all points in between. Monday to Saturday. I started TeiJi Carpentry 2 years ago and I've had the privilege of working for the same 2 clients over that time. I'm looking to expand my network. I am a journeyman carpenter of the last 20 years focusing on a wide variety of skills mostly in the finishing/drywall, restoration and renovation sectors. If any repairs are needed whether its from water/fire damage, rough housing, weather, aged materials, pets, moving damage I can repair it back to new. I have most of my experience in baseboard and casing, painting, drywall, mud and tape, insulation, framing, railings, laminate flooring and much more. Just ask. I believe in honesty and integrity so if its a job that I might not have the time to finish by completion date or if I believe another subcontractor with certain skills could do a better job I will absolutely let you know. I can give quotes or do an hourly rate. My hourly rate is 40. My hourly could come down depending on the work (feel free to ask).
