Hired them to create a basement entrance - overall frustrating experience with their communications and delayed responses, and sloppy work. Took months to get started, ended up spilling the project to the following year. Worse, the existing porch stairs obviously had to go but they missed this in the initial scope so we ended up having an additional SOW. Then we kept seeing the rusts all over around the metal posts and on top of the painted stairs; they came back and did a touch-up - rusts came back again, and after multiple emails we gave up. Overall, I have nothing against them as they seem nice as people, but poor project management and sloppy finish.

Robert the owner of Gazeebro was wonderful. He was the first contractor to reply to my posting in HomeStars although I didn't respond immediately because I wanted to review a number of the responses. When we discussed the project he was very professional and answered all my questions clearly, gave me his fee and the length of time to do the work. He also communicated very well prior to starting the work by keeping me informed of when he would arrive by texts.He arrived on time on the set date and began the work finishing within the time he estimated. Throughout the project he checked with me often to make certain I was happy with the work. When I brought anything to his attention that I wanted changed like the positioning of the bar he adjusted it immediately to my satisfaction. Upon completion he cleaned up the site.Robert is very personal and focused on doing the best job he can for his client.He is certainly one of the best contractors I have ever hired.

I highly recommend CJ Constructors. Josh responded quickly to my inquiry, provided a competitive estimate, and started immediately. His crew arrived early, stayed late, and completed each phase—demolition, framing, insulation, drywall, etc—efficiently, finishing each in a single day. Their organization, coordination, and work ethic were evident at every stage. While the basement walls were open, I asked Josh to look at two kitchen outlets that had not worked for five years. I had previously consulted at least ten electricians, all proposing costly, invasive solutions. Josh’s electrician found the simple problem within minutes, fixed it without any damage, and Josh did not charge me for the service. He is skilled, honest, and highly professional. I would hire him again without hesitation.

We had an old bathtub in our bathroom that had been there for many years and was starting to show its age. It was very outdated and no longer practical for our needs, so we decided to convert it into a modern shower. After getting several quotes from different contractors, we decided to hire Amiria. Their price was very reasonable compared to others, but what really gave us confidence was the level of insurance, guarantees, and clear terms they included in the contract. From the beginning, it was obvious that their team was experienced and well organized. The work was done with great attention to detail, and now we have a beautiful new shower that we feel completely comfortable with in terms of plumbing, waterproofing, and overall construction quality. The workmanship was very clean and professional, and the team members were trustworthy and respectful. Another thing we really appreciated was that the specialists working on the project had their own licenses in their respective trades, including plumbing and electrical, which gave us even more confidence in the quality of the work. One of the most helpful parts of the experience was that they took us to tile and plumbing fixture stores so we could choose the materials according to our own taste. Throughout the process they asked for our input and made sure the final result matched our preferences. Overall, we are extremely happy with the result and the entire experience. If anyone is looking for a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented team for a bathroom renovation, we would definitely recommend them.

I needed to remove and replace my basement flooring. My neighbour had work done by Ecolux Contracting and highly recommended them and as I had seen them around the neighbourhood doing work at various homes, I called them to take a look at the work I needed to be done and provide a quote. Jiyan of Ecolux Contracting assessed the work, provided suggestions and gave me a very reasonable quote and provided a timeline. Jiyan and his team started the job on time, moved the furniture, removed the old flooring and took care of the disposal. Together we chose the flooring, ordered it, and as soon as it arrived, it was installed. I am very pleased with the installation of the new flooring and baseboards. The workers were very experienced. They were true professionals. I highly recommend Ecolux Contracting to anyone who needs to renovate their home.

The project started with building a deck which turned out spectacular. Because of the excellent work by Damion and the the project was expanded to include decking around the pool as well as a cantilever pergola. All work was done satisfactorily on budget and on time.
