We started our renovation with such high hopes but the project ended prematurely (and was left incomplete) leaving us with absolute disappointment. We had to hire another company to fix the shoddy work Luis left behind. Luis can do alot of things but unfortunately in our home he did nothing really well. Based on the work he did for us, I can only conclude that he is nothing more than a glorified handyman parading as a professional contractor. My suggestion is to keep looking. He was a nightmare. If you read Luis' reply to this post, don't believe a word - just look at the pics. He is trying to paint me as the problem when he needs to look into the mirror. This job was not finished as Luis was fired from the project due to poor workmanship. He makes it sound like he returned my money but this is untrue. He paid back a small portion of the pre-paid installment payments which were made in good faith and on time. Despite what he says below, he just could not deliver what he promised and what he did deliver was generally sub-par. A third contractor (not hired) that saw pics of the work said, "The picture you sent me needs to be completely torn out, absolutely terrible work, Im not touching that with a 12ft pole. Sorry man, dont take it the wrong way. Im not interested in fixing anyone elses work or having someone elses work be the base for my work. If youre not willing to tear that out, Ill pass."

I needed some work done to update the basement and some room upstairs. I found it difficult to find a reliable good working contractor that would not leave me in a lurch. I found Ben the Builder. I was pleasantly surprised with his work and work ethic. He listen to what I needed and delivered all at a reasonable price. He called when he knew he would not be able to work. He also provided regular updates as to progress or called if there were any questions or concerns. Good all around jack of all trades.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

*Buyer beware* As a follow up, I have not heard back from Bryan on a resolution for the poor workmanship provided and have had to retain legal counsel, whom he has also ignored. I had to incur an additional cost for replacement carpet, as the stairs could not be left as they were. This continues to be a huge disappointment. *Buyer beware* Bryan and his partner (name unknown) were hired to remove carpet on stairs and finish the wood floors underneath. I have had to put down blankets and bedsheets to protect our socks from stain residue and the amount of nails and staples left is dangerous. There was no proper matching of the stain and the carpet lines are still visible. No wood filler was used to fix marks left from the carpet removal. As a single parent on a limited income, this is an expensive disappointment.

I hired this company to repair my roof and remove a large tree that was growing too close to the house. They were excellent from start to finish. The team arrived on time, assessed everything carefully, and explained the work in a way that was easy to understand. The roof repair was done quickly and with great workmanship. They fixed the damaged shingles, sealed everything properly, and made sure the roof was secure and protected. The tree removal was handled safely and professionally—they took down the branches and trunk without causing any damage, and cleaned up the entire area afterward. I’m really happy with the results. My roof looks solid again, and the yard is clear and safe. Great service, fair pricing, and a very reliable team. Highly recommend them for roofing and tree removal work.

John Routier and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. Workmanship was excellent and completed in a very timely manner. We found John, Ryan, Corban, Aaron and Brandon to be extremely friendly, courteous, and diligent. John was able to handle extra requests while onsite and was always gracious and accommodating with our questions and concerns. I’ve been looking to change my floor for many months, and i was getting tired of it, i talked with many guys, each one had a skill in something, someone vinyl, someone in tiling, someone on something else, and it was really hard to choose which should we go with that we won’t regret it and last us for years, until i found these guys, the thing these guys have, they are professional 0 to 100 full house remodelling so they use any kind of material, they did explain all of them together and bring use so many samples and make it much more easier for use to choose, with so many option of different type of material and pricing. We ended up doing the first floor with big tiles and doing the stairs and second floor with vinyl, such a beautiful combination. Also, the other great things about these guys are when they say something, they do it, as we discussed about the deadline, they were on time, on track every day, and so organized
