The whole team was professional and maintained communication from start to finish of the project. We had flood damage requiring replacement of drywall, taping, repainting. The flooring and stairs were also replaced as well as the doors and trim. Options were provided throughout to match budget and design choices and the final product matched what was promised. In the end we are very happy with all the work and thankful for the transparency and help along the way. My backyard was barely usable, small as it is it was sitting on the slope downwards and impossible to use. After the job finished, I could not recognize it. Every inch is now usable and can be used, so now it feels much bigger and super modern. The walk from the basement was added as well, Im very excited about the way it was done and cant wait to fully use after we finish the basement. We are pleased to say that working with Genius renos was the best choice. We needed to make a full upgrade on our condominium apartment and the results are amazing. We had an initial discussions with the owner Geni as to our requirements for the kitchen and our two bathrooms and he had helpful suggestions to help us make design decisions as well. They converted our living space into a beautiful open entertainment area with a lovely kitchen, updated walls and laundry area. The team was absolutely amazing and Geni was a pleasure to work with. Their work was high quality and they were extremely respectful of our space and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the work day. The project involved a brand new kitchen, including custom made cabinets, countertop, sink, high end tap, lovely backsplash and beautiful replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted. Also, for the washrooms, replaced old vanities and showed with new custom made to fit our space in both washrooms. Our old tub in the master bathroom and tiled shower was replaced with a new sleek tub/shower with cultured marble tile walls and ceiling. The guest washroom was also completely re-modelled with a beautiful rain fall shower (which I am so in love). They also replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted the bathrooms. The final result were beautiful kitchen and bathrooms that we are very happy with. The job was completed in the estimated six weeks, even with unexpected extra work - when some rotting wood (from old leaks) and incorrect wiring was discovered. Geni and his crew are excellent at communicating and consulting with us on every detail and choice. We have no hesitation in recommending genius renovations. They are very pleasant to work with, and their standard of work is consistently excellent.

Allick built a tunnel for my cats to move from a window cat door to their catio on the patio. He used materials I had on hand and improved on my original idea to make the setup safer for both me and my cats. He was prompt and finished the job on time and on budget. There were no hidden costs or surprises, and he cleaned up the area before leaving. I would hire Al again.

The project came in on budget within the initial timelines agreed. The owner is an outstanding lead contractor and maintained a regular communication flow so we were kept updated on status constantly. The quality of finish is superb. He has a keen eye for function and design and he provided solid guidance at every key stage. He saved us precious time by directing us to selective third party vendors and even accompanied us on shopping trips and planning meetings to ensure all involved collaborated in an effective manner, thereby keeping the pace of progress on track. When we met with any unexpected complexities/challenges he provided solid rationale for workable solutions, always upholding the integrity of the design. He is well respected within the industry, as evidenced by the strong relationships he has with a stand-up group of sub-trades. They all worked efficiently, seamlessly handing off from one to the other, back and forth - always maintaining the same high standard of work that we came to expect from Sever Homes and team. The level of after-service we received served to enhance what was overall an outstandingly positive experience from Sever Homes.
