The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.Latest review:Green Roofing Solutions

Liz and her team from GTA kitchen did an outstanding job on our kitchen renovation recently. It was truly a pleasure to work with Liz. She is an excellent listener who puts her heart and soul into the design and smooth and professional execution of all aspects of the project. Her expert advice and suggestions with the design turned our outdated L-shape kitchen into a high-end kitchen with a beautiful and super functional island, opening up our family room by extending kitchen cabinets seamlessly on the TV area with gorgeous bookshelves in the family room. Liz and her team also did an excellent job at removing our popcorn ceiling. The demolition of the old kitchen and the installation of the new one were timely and everything was coordinated seamlessly. We recently had Jerrys Roofing and Renovation Ltd. replace our roof. It was a big job that took three twelve-hour days to complete, as we had to remove all the plywood, vents, shingles, insulation, etc. Bob and his crew were professional, timely and very clean. He explained the entire process to us prior to commencing the work and there were no surprises later. Our initial interaction with RINO was very positive,and the job officially startd on March 10 with a comitment to complete in 4 weeks,as outlined in the contract. Payments were released promptly per agreed payment terms.However,it has now been 15 weeks,and the job remains unfinished despite numerous follow-ups and a lack of communication from RINO.Open stairs left without railings for weeks and exposed nails on the steps are saftey concerns—this is particularly alarming given that a 3yr-old child resides in the house. These hazards demonstrate a lack of consideration for the safety and well-being of our family.Most work was handled by subcontractors, who performed well, they too expresed frustration with RINO for reasons tht were evident. To expedite,I personaly painted myself, saving him a week of work.At this point,we r requesting Homestars to intervne and help us get the remaining work complted as soon as possible.
