I recently reached out to Jason of TCB Construction regarding some roof panelling for a pergola in my backyard and Let me tell you it was the best decision I made. Great attitude, super knowledgeable, punctual, honest and fair. First of all, this is an owner operated business run by Branden - and he personally quoted the job and joined his excellent team doing a tricky install of cedar siding on the facing of my third story property. That alone wins big points with me. There was also no slick salesman trying to upsell the job, and Branden was creative in helping me find the right solution, at the right price. And finally, the work was first rate - and he squeezed it in two days after we met while another company's rep told me they couldn't get to the job til January (at a significantly higher price, with materials I didn't want to use). Great communication from RWF Custom Contracting, from the get to go they were quick to respond, ask the right questions, give detailed answers and follow up when they said they would. I hired them to remove 3 bifold doors with install hinged doors. They did all the work outlined in the scope, on time and as discussed in budget. Polite. Professional. Clean. While trying to repair a leak that we discovered inside our exterior walls, we decided to hire Beni for the job. While his quote was the most expensive of the other 2, he promised to do a good job and agreed to do all of what was being asked which included disassembling every exterior fixture such as the security cameras and light fixtures and re-finishing the entire front walls of the house as well as repairing every crack with new stucco and repainting the entire exterior of the house. Upon start of the work, I noticed the his crew started taping around the cameras and putting silicon in the cracks where a proper repair was to take place, this was brought up to him and he slightly responded saying "Don't worry". Later on I also noticed that the walls were not clear of debris before painting and parts of plants and dirt that was stuck to the wall had been painted over which once again I brought up to his attention and needless to say they were not adequately fixed. Needless to say that instead of the entire front of the house being re-finished, parts and patches were which as anyone who has done stucco would know looks terrible. On another occasion I had asked his crew to NOT step on a fresh concrete that was pored in the back of the house for a deck project and to my amazement within 5 minutes of that conversation the opposite happened and I caught his crew walking on the freshly pored concrete. When I confronted Arben (Beni) with all the problems he blamed COVID inability to find good laborer's. To make matters even worse, the crew made a huge mess everywhere, walked on my neighbors lawn and driveway, spilt paint over my neighbors drive way as well as the armor stones next the wall and back yard. Overall, the job that I paid top dollar for turned out to be a nightmare due to false promises and absolute lack of attention to details. I have no doubt that the other positive feedbacks here from friends or fabricated as their work speaks for itself. Mike’s team did a great job on my bathroom re-finishing - clean up and timely arrival and departure. Work involved re-seal of bathroom tile grout, caulking and cleaning of the tile and grout by removal of caulk mold. Price is reasonable for work involved. Did work on stand up shower and on a basement tub.

We highly recommend Daniel and his team. Many people in Niagara region can relate to the problems of finding a decent contractor. We moved here during COVID and hired an inside contractor, which gave us endless headaches and kept putting us off in finishing the job for over two and a half grueling years and way over budget. That's why we were really particular in choosing a contractor to finish up our outdoor space. We wanted someone who would follow building codes to the letter (this is important, and we had another guy walk away when he found out we wanted this project to pass all inspections). We found Daniel through Home Depot's referral service. He came over in Fall 2023 and provided us with a thorough quote, answering all of our questions after reviewing our plans. Put it this way: We had another contractor who showed up but never sent us a quote afterward. Daniel also has great customer references. We checked them all, and they're all as happy as we are. Daniel and his team started work in March 2024, and he completed the job on days, evenings, and even the Easter weekend when his schedule permitted. The project ran a bit over budget, but that's to be expected, and the results speak for themselves. Hopefully, we will work together again on a fence sometime in 2025.
