Moise created a custom designed radiator cover for my living room. I have no issues with the unit - the design is good, the construction is solid, and the workmanship is top notch. Throughout the process, I found Ben and Cara pleasant to deal with (if at times not as quick to respond as one might expect). The reason for my POOR review is simple. When installing the unit, Moise informed me that he would be installing a cleat. However, he failed to ask me for a picture of what was inside the wall before he began to drill, failed to use a stud finder, and even failed to simply walk to the other side of the wall to observe a built in toilet. As a result, his 4 drill into the wall pierced a brand new toilet bladder. While I understand mistakes happen (and he helped to stem the water flow), my frustration is that the company failed to help reimburse me for the re-work to repair the mistake his installation had caused (I suggested I cover the labour, his INSURANCE cover the bladder). I am simply amazed. I paid him in full for his work (that was well done) but had assumed he would help pay for the costly repairs (over 4 figures) that his mistake caused. There was no discussion or debate - simply an impolite no.

Last year my husband and I were having installation issues with a new heat pump that wed purchased from another company. I posted a plea for help on the NextDoor app. Andrew was quick to reply with valuable information that helped us get resolution. So when the time came for our heat pumps annual maintenance inspection, we reached back to him. I mentioned we also needed to have an old natural gas line removed from our kitchen, and were happy to hear that Andrew was fully licenced to take care of both issues. He arrived on time, spent time adjusting our thermostat to a more economical setting, inspected the heat pump noting deficiencies from the original install, quickly removed the gas pipe, checked all remaining gas fittings and provided a clear explanation of the work hed completed and gave us a detailed invoice for the exact amount he had quoted. He was knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and professional. When he left there was no mess left behind and we had a better understanding of our equipment. CUSTOMER BEWARE Gregs Plumbing and Heating are dishonest, and not upfront about after hours rates.After hours rate starts very early, 4 PM.They start charging their exorbitant rate the second they get in their vehicle. Their Website states they are in Dundas. If you want to support locally owned companies, beware they are actually in East Hamilton Mountain. This company was paid for a job they did not complete in January 2024. Numerous requests to have the owner Greg contact us, the date and time set up to have a conversation, did not happen. They farmed out our job to a Sister Company who charges even more. We were not informed of this. The alleged facts stated by the company employees varied significantly depending on whom you spoke with. Theres a reason this company is not listed with BBB. We hired Aaron to completely replace the original 1939 stairs leading to our basement. Out of the four quotes we examined, Aaron impressed me with his thorough grasp of the complexities of building these new stairs. He sent his quote with plans drawn for the new stairs compared with old, and complete dimensions. He was the only contractor who truly convinced me that they knew what to do, how to do it, and make it happen on schedule and budget. I have ZERO doubts that you would also be incredibly happy with Aaron's work if you hire him. He's also a friendly, smart, meticulous, and hard working, as is his sister Taylor who worked on our project too. We had an old front porch(built 1958) that was crumbling and starting to become a real danger. TGM replaced the porch with a new lafitt tandem wall. Project was completed on time, and communicated well with us throughout. When it came to design we left Dylan to do what he thought would work, he noticed our soffits had just been redone and suggested doing a dark border cap that would go nicely with it. When a defect happened with one of the caps, rather than possibly hide it or hope we wouldn't notice, Dylan pointed it out right away and fixed it. Justin & Dylan powered through some of the hottest days of the year cheerfully and efficiently. We've gone from the ugly duckling in the neighbourhood to a front of house of our dreams, we didn't know we could cause such rubber necking!
